Do orcs in Skyrim still like horse soup? Oblivion had some orcs that liked horse soup...

@Raestloz, There is mod called Conjure Etheral Horses, or something similar. It is a fantastic mod for people that want to be able to use a horse sometimes but not be stuck with all the negative junk that goes along with a horse. Tanking dragons for example.

This mod will let you conjure a horse and travel with it quite quickly through Skyrim. Then when you dismount the horse vanishes. Just conjure a new one when you need it. Great for the sneak that would like to use a horse but did not want to drag it everywhere. I fast travel very little now and love riding the horse. Then it is gone if I want to sneak up and kill a bandit camp, (or Thalmor patrol).

I'd like a 1st person cam for the horses. It's so clunky and awkward in 3rd person.

what's up with the lack of acknowledgment for 2worlds1's horse system?

pure weakness.

the system, at a minimum, without money, should be a staple.

well-done.

Hey horses are very useful especially when your over encumbered. you can get on one and fast travel! that's really awesome to do! I personally think horses are really helpful. People have there own opinions but one horse stands out above all the rest. Shadowmere.

the skyrim horse system should be ashamed.

2worlds1 is by far better.

skyrim regressed.

Sometimes I get ratted out by ex-prisoners after rescuing them from a group of Thalmor.

In Oblivion I really wanted to play a horse eating Orc. When I was at a cooking thing on Skyrim I seen horse meat as an ingredient and had to start an Orc. I'm a happy camper being able to eat the things this time around.

In rdr, you can see your horse's stamina. What do Skyrim's horses do better?

No, horse riding is Skyrim is definitely NOT better than RDR; from movement to changes in movement, not to mention the muscles behavior! RDR takes the crown by a LONG, very LONG shot! Good luck BS, but you will never better the horses from RDR; only its sequel will have that honor!

Beth's implementation of horses is the best I've ever seen.

I respectfully disagree. I wonder, have you played Red Dead Redemption yet?

I'd say that M&B horses are better, at least they feel like horses when you ride them.
I haven't played red dead redemption, so I wouldn't know about the horses there.

I find them quite delicious with a pinch of salt and a nice Chianti.

The best horse i've ridden in a game is the one from Shadow of the Colossus. It actually acts like horse instead of a four-legged motorcycle. (Haven't played RDR or M&B, though).

If the OP hates horses he is in good company. The fauna of Skyrim can't tolerate them either. Bears, sabre cats, wolves .- that I get, However, foxes, elk, even a goat head butted my horse.

Sarcasm, right?

No horseback combat. You have to get off for every hostile critter you encounter.
Horses are the fiercest warriors in the game, and think nothing of charging in to attack dragons. (yeah, I know, lets go try and kill the huge flying reptile that views me as an appetizer...)
Horses (among other critters) are psychic. They can telepathically let guards know when you are doing something wrong.
No saddlebags.
No carts, wagons, whathaveyou.

the only benefit to horse riding in Skyrim is that they seem to ignore the laws of physics when it comes to mountains.

But you can also run and fast travel with a horse when over-encumbered.

I only buy horses so I can listen to them squeal when I stick a blade through their chest. I love the way they just drop dead too. Rather amusing.
