Red Dead's implimentation may be "better", but is still pretty infuriating in parts. Balking at going over some terrain, running clear past you when you call for them (and sometimes over the edge of a cliff) and so on?

The only thing I want out of RDR is the "call horse" button.

Everything about the horses is terrible.

Their movement (compared to games like Red Dead Redemption) is crap.

Instead of adding horse mounted combat, they think they've done you a favour by having your horse fight for you.... oh yeah what a brilliant idea that was.

I just refuse to use them as they are so terrible and more hassle than they are worth.

youre either taking the piss or you need to play something other than Skyrim.

i love my horse, only when it flies though, dismounting it is a bad idea in mid air tho

The horses in Skyrim for the PC feel like they have a friggin' stick-shift and manual drive. I got on one horse and thought "WHAT THE [censored]" and then immediately got off.

They could have made them faster at least.
My arcane warrior outruns them using the stamina restoring healing spells.

And those jumping animations hurt my eyes.
