Have you ever seen a Dragon like this?!?

Was it fixed in the patch, then?

One of the reasons I made this thread was to see if anyone with the patch(es) has experienced this bug

It seems Sammaster the Wise has found his way into Skyrim:

"...And all our enemies shall be revealed in good time. Those who oppose us shall fall to ruin and death in the jaws of the dead dragons. And their bodies shall crack and their hair shall burn, and then they will know in their last moments that theirs was the path of folly. For the reign of the dead dragons cannot? be forestalled, cannot be thwarted, cannot be broken."

And no, I didn't copy what was posted on the vid, I posted it.

That was intended. The OP is refering to a post-patch bug. Once you reach higher levels, you will come across Skeletal Dragons as often as regular dragons. They can't fly, nor do they give you souls, but they will mainly appear in dungeons. They can appear on the surface, though.

Not in the open world. But one of the better bugs if you ask me.

"Skeletal dragons are usually encountered in dungeons, caves, and any underground structure with draconic lore in Skyrim. Although flightless and not having dragon souls, they are still dangerous"
- Elder Scrolls Wiki

You may be right, but the wiki might suggest that it is possible to see them on the surface. I'm not at that stage myself, so it could just be me reading too much into it.

I wouldn't mind this bug a little more often, because sometimes I find the dragon fights too easy. Also, it would mean more experience for levelling.

I've had a skeleton of a Dragon start going berserk on me once. (Not come to life obv.)

It was halfway stuck in the terrain and started like breakdancing EVERYWHERE until it finally popped up outta the ground like a Cheerleader on a trampoline to finally rest on the grass. Heh.

THAT video though is quite funny.. if that happened to me I'd be like "Wtf" too.. XD

I've got one question...

many people in these forums talk about ancient dragons, but I haven't met any ancient ones, the only ones I've met were dragons, blood dragons, ice dragons and elder dragons, but no ancient ones and I'm level 54.

Do you just call elder dragons ancient or are there ancient dragons?

No, but i've seen one of these: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/338/2011112200004.jpg/
I don't know if it had an accident, got dropped on it's head as a child, it's some kind of ostrich dragon or that's just how it sleeps, but there you go.

So here I am minding my own business when a dragon swoops down on me. I use storm call, which kills it eventually. But when it runs out of health (in midair) it doesn't die! I absorb it's soul then this happens!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtqMJkl5AtM

So has anyone seen anything like this?!
Not happened to me but, given the fact that it didn't give you its soul, it's probably a respawn of a dragon you had previously killed. What else?
