Not really, but I got this weird glich a couple of days ago, where two mudcrabs appeared from nowhere and killed him. I would have helped, but it was just too funny not to watch!

It's becasue it's 200 years ago, before the great war and before the ban on Talos worship. My hundreds of hours pumped into that game are what give me my strong feelings for the worship of all nine divines.
I realize that since I finally got to play Oblivion. On another note, I think you're signature is basically right. I find myself killing every Thalmor that I see when roaming around Skyrim. I think there are a lot of people who say they worship Talos to the Thalmor just to piss them off

So far I only killed him once. I was in The Great Hall looking for Lydia so I can sacrifice her for that one Daedric quest. Those 2 maids in there were really starting to annoy me. So I stealthfuly killed them with my bow. Then I went on a hidden rampage killing the Guards of Whiterun. Heimskr happened to be one of my victimes

We've all had moments like that. Like being moon hit by a giant or watching a dragon skeleton spaz out. Its fun to watch NPCs struggle to kill basic low level enemies. Its even funnier when they are unkillable quest NPCs, such as Silus.

I find those maids to be annoying too. I find it funny that I can have a massive two handed sword pulled out, and they don't care, but the guard does.

Or you could just banzai charge like Rambo, that always works too

I wouldn't dream of killing him, I worship him. The helmet of every Thalmor I've killed lies on the wall behind where he preaches

I don't kill him. Like someone said before, whiterun wouldn't be the same without Heimskr.

I've never killed him, or any innocent for that matter, outside of the DB quests.

True. Heimskr is just one NPC. At least Im not like my family member who kills random NPC's for pleasure and has people hiring assassins to kill them because they killed their family member. Maybe next time i play skyrim i wont kill Heimskr and Ill kill Nazeem instead.

I gutted him like the annoying fish he was! After playing the game for countless hours and hearing his annoying rambling for far too long I just said "[censored] it" and dropped an arrow in his dome. Feels good to walk past the Gildergleam tree and not hear his incredibly annoying voice anymore. :drag:

I killed him once on my Second character.. I found him so annoying that I just saw him, shot an arrow into his head, and left.

As others have said, I have no problem with him.. on one of my earlier playthroughs I sat there and listened to him before I talked to him. Only thing I really do to him is pickpocket him to level it up but that's about it.

this might just become yet another civil war thread. Anyway, yes, i killed him. Yes, i found him annoying. But it wasnt because of talos or anything. It was just annoying how his dialogue went droning and twittering on whenever im in whiterun.

So dovahkiin sneaks behind the ol' preacher, and blasts a fury spell in his back :D

I kill him most of the time... I think I might wait to kill him in my current playthrough. Kill him with a Vampire Bite while he is awake....

I killed the town beggar, he is just a rat. Heimskr was killed because my character got fed up with him. My good character will kill him for supporting rebels, even though he is not with the Empire. My evil Altmer Mage will kill him because he is a Thalmor agent. He will kill everyone at a Talos shrine.

I fully plan on using vampiric grip to try and launch him over Dragonreach.

I find Heimskr to be one of the most annoying characters in Skyrim. Sure, Nazeem is a pompous a**, and Skald is the most immature Jarl in the game (other than maybe the Jarl of Falkreath), but they don't stand around the central point in the city you spend the most time in and preach from early in the morning until 2 am. Last time I killed Heimskr I blew him up with a fireball spell, then dragged his body into the Whiterun market so everyone would be like "What happened?" Not suprisingly, Heimskr stand for stupid in Icelandic.

Poison arrow in the face, or a frenzy poison so the guards kill him.
