Heimskr: How many ways have you killed or wanted to kill him : V - Skyrim

Every time I go to Whiterun I kill him. I just like slowly walking up to him and hearing "LET ME SHOW YOU THE POWER OF TALOS11!!!" Then I cut off his head and tell the guards that since I'm a thane I have the right to a free public execution, and then I reload...and do it again.

Strangely enough I find him comforting, he's a direct shout out to Kirkbride's lore forum rantings.

I want to bash the skull in, of the guy in whiterun, who claims, he should do this to me, for helping the Stormcloaks.

For one thing,

His family was in a plot to capture a member of another family, having them held, for possible death.

so who the heck is he to run his mouth to me. I believe he cannot be killed, so i dont even bother.

I find Heimskr to be one of the most annoying characters in Skyrim. Sure, Nazeem is a pompous a**, and Skald is the most immature Jarl in the game (other than maybe the Jarl of Falkreath), but they don't stand around the central point in the city you spend the most time in and preach from early in the morning until 2 am. Last time I killed Heimskr I blew him up with a fireball spell, then dragged his body into the Whiterun market so everyone would be like "What happened?" :devil:

Not suprisingly, Heimskr stand for stupid in Icelandic.

I don't like him because he supports stormcloak, but he's is preaching for what he believes in, so I don't kill him.

I quite like him actually. Whiterun wouldn't be the same without his ranting. It's not as if he's hurting anyone.

I don't kill him. He doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Ditto. Of course, I also don't understand the dislike of Three Dog in FO3. (well, except when he's yelling at me for doing things he'd only know about if he's got psychic powers. Like offing Roy Phillips & Co. :tongue:

Despite being a good character I had to exercise great restraint not to put a bullet between Three Dog's eyes when I first met him.

Ive murdered him while hes sleeping, and during the frenzied werewolf transformation... but that was long ago... right now there are so few NPC in Whiterun and any other city that... well I'll just content in killing bandits and other respawnable NPCs.

I'll give him a good beating every few weeks to keep him in line but as someone previously stated White Run isnt Whiterun without him.

Oh god Heimskr. [censored]. I think I stealthily assassinated him one night.

Also it's worthy of note that Heimskr's house is one of the first buildings taken out by the Stormcloaks' first mortar volley on Whiterun. Can't be coincidence.

It's true.. I killed him in a mess about playthrough I started until patch 1.6 comes out. Walking up the stairs to Dragonreach I felt a great emptiness when I didn't witness his shouting.

He does got pretty annoying, and i went werewolf on him one time just so i could savagely rip him apart.. it was fun...
But whiterun does seem empty without him :ermm:

I always laugh when Heimskr says, "I love you!". As I'm usually running to Dragonsreach or Jorrvaskr when I hear him, he doesn't get on my nerves too much. To me, he adds humor to the game, and I like the crazy zealot. Just don't leave the kids alone with him...
