Stimpak's value was increased from 25 to 75

Saw this on Wiki....did they just make stims 3x more expensive or am I misreading this?

I think you're reading that correctly. Fast healing just got bloody expensive. Maybe its to encourage the non-hardcoe players to use up some of that food that the wasteland is practically buried in.

So, is explosives better now or did only EW get a -DT thing?

I really hope the first option, but we'll not know till we get detailed patch notes.

I want more info on these. What "issues" have been addressed - technical, general gameplay or both?

This.

I just noticed I haven't bought a single stimpak. There's already too many lying around. That's the core of the problem.

Looks like the wiki has more and more fixes added to the patch page:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_patch_1.02

Keep adding them, folks, so that we have a full changelog once the patch is out for te PC. :)

Wow I'm impressed at the shear volume of fixes and bugs that are being addressed. With all the work that went into sorting that lot out I'm suprised they aren't treating it like a DLC and charge the community for it..... oh wait they can still do that for pc users shhhhhhhh :)

Apart from the fact that I highly doubt they would do that, unless they want to lose all reputation.

I would sacrfice all of this for the removal of invisible walls.

Totally agree.
Or a gate at the other end of the strip.

Would someone like to explain why the mines in front of Primm have been removed? Not that I care either way it just seems like a weird change. Were they causing some kind of glitch?

Yep.
I got in about five hours this morning and that's where I finally crashed.
I'm letting it set for a bit while I have breakfast and then I'm going to fire it back up and see if stutters and/or crashes again.
Forlorn Hope has pretty much been the must buggy and prone to crash area for me.

Removing invisible walls, means that they need to redone some areas again, to not fall on an black hole to OBLIVION,

I haven't heard if there was any weapon bug fixes...namely reloading, gun invisible in 1st person sometimes, arms being raised holding weapon in awkward position and countless others

I'm curious about the gun being raised in first person too. That bug fixed? That annoyed me to no end and blocked my field of vision.

Don't forget about the greater likelihood of crashing when our systems are overheated. I love marathon sessions but I think I'm seeing a real difference if I limit my time to shorter sessions. It's hard but so is losing data in between saves. :)

Or the Devs are in Molyneux mode and when they see players playing the way they don't want them to.....not using survival or killing Deathclaws with the sniper rifle instead of the AMR....they nerf the options to force them back on the path.

That was very true on our old 60GB Fat.
Since my better half brought home a new 160GB Slim, overheating hasn't been much of an issue, and we've definitely seen fewer freezes. In fact, we've both been able to complete several playthroughs.
However, even with a brand new system, there are just some places (Camp Hope being the worst, for us) that stutter and drag and freeze. Also at the top of our experience lists are Bitter Springs and Red Rock.

What's funny (in an ironic way) to me is that I've read over and over how the game engine is to blame.
Well, while the b/f has been hogging NV on the new PS3, I've been putting crazy marathon sessions in to FO3 on the old 60GB and I've yet to experience a single freeze or crash. Honest, not one. Now, I'm not exactly the swiftest horse out of the gate and what I know about computers you can fit on the tip of a needle. Still, it seems to me that Obsidian will, eventually, get this freezing/crashing problem licked.

However, I think that is going to depend on us (the players) reporting issues honestly and without hard feelings.
The more Obsidian learns about areas that cause problems, the better able they will be able to go in to those areas and find ways to at least ease said problems, if not fix them entirely.

As for this current patch, the better half and I have both seen improvements.
He's overjoyed about companions showing up on the map, the way recipes are now ordered at the tables and campfires and that armour at the NCR safehouse.
Personally, I was overjoyed to find that ED-E had been not only "fixed" from his "don't follow/don't fight" glitch, but his weapon upgrade was actually an upgrade. He is now, officially, my favourite companion! He doesn't whine and moan like the others and he is a beast when it comes to watching my back.

Does the game still have problems? For the PS3 ... certainly.
Did the patch improve things? For the PS3 ... definitely.

At least, in our experience.

I hope they fixed the freezing/CTD issue's, the choppiness, and the cowboy repeater slow reaction problem as well, the last two problems started after the last patch. Well at least I think so, but I have read that some people have had increasing issue's the longer they play so I guess the cowboy repeater an lag maybe from playing longer but I did notice I have more freezing/CTD since playing over 100 hours.

I don't know  I just hope the game gets fixed proper sooner rather than later, though looking at the fix list on the WIKI it seems as if they'll need to work on another patch.....and lets hope this new patch won't break any thing new
