And the answer to that was an alternate start mod too. Except you ran into a crazy guy who thought you were his child

I've got about 10 characters and over 300 hours. Its not hard to play more than one character.

I couldn't play without this mod. It allows for great roleplaying possibilities.

The opening just svcks out any energy and ambition I have about my new characters. It's just too long-winded. I'm really annoyed that Bethesda didn't give you an alternative, or even a chance to edit your character.

any of these solutions seem viable to me, but it aint gonna happen.

we get busted kill cams and (some) get broken horse combat for free but you have to pay for the barber. wtf?

they haven't even fixed the 'prisoner' save and how you can lose a toon by restarting the game, do you think they care that much about this?

if it ever came they would probably wrap it into a broken dlc and charge you 1600 MSP anyway...

The lack of this feature strengthens my belief that Bethesda mostly aimed for a great "first impression" and didn't consider much those who play the game for a looong time.

On the surface Skyrim is absolutely amazing, but it does lack depth in some areas and some things just get extremely annoying after some time. The topic of this thread is an example, the unique dialogue of NPC's is another.

The first time you enter Whiterun you are amazed by the unique dialogue, but once you visit it for the 30th time you want to pull your hair out if Nazeem again says "Do you come to the cloud district often? Oh what am I saying, ofcourse you don't!". If they had give Nazeem 5 generic greetings ("Hello", "Good day", "How are you", etc) in addition to his unique line it would be far less annoying.

I have a lvl 1 save game file for every race right after I escape helgen ....saves me the hassle of the intro...

I wish they would add an option to change what you look like before you leave the first dungeon.

It's not disrespectful when we've seen it thousands of times due to restartitis. Even skipping the intro and loading at the cart is annoying. It's disrespectul to us consumers if anything by not offering us a chance to redo our chars right before we exit the Helgen cave. It should even have the option of switching who you went with, Hadvar or Ralof as well.
