stuff like that is just there for the player. there is no symptoms or wolf like features on your character. plus the Dawnguard seem like a vampire only hunters because of their name.

Well, generally Wolfies come out at night, aye? They're guarding the dawn against anything that goes bump in the night. So I'd suppose they'd be against hungry, giant Wolves as well as Vampy Vamps.

Just hoping the Dawnguard are less stupid and extreme than the damn Vigilant of Stendarr. I'm all for fighting evil, but they take it too seriously and extremely. Like, even for helping Meridia(a Daedric prince that's not that evil) they'd cut you down if they knew you did. So, hoping the Dawnguard aren't like, "EVERY VAMPIRE IS EVIL EVER KILL THEM ALL," etc.

But the werewolves in Skyrim can control themselves because of their unique blood.

The only thing tempting me to join the vampires is the ability to fly (even if it is only for a short time). That would be awesome. However I'll still pick the Dawnguard.

No. Werewolves can and do transform during the day as well, at least in the Elder Scrolls.

Seriously? I thought that comments apply for all, it doesn't make sense though why would things like that occurs just to the player? Oh well.. There goes my theory.

Well, what's the big deal of burning up in the daylight and being much weaker? I mean, currently, Skyrim's vampires aren't so great, it's cool being one and all but the cons outweigh the pros in my opinion. They just seem weak as it is, I'm glad Dawnguard is addressing this.

Also, this:

They looks like an oversized moth to me, I like that vampires are able to change forms, but I don't like the appearance, but that's just me everyone has their own opinion.

I was just reminded of the film "The Mothman Prophecies" there.

I'm hoping some of these abilities (at least the ability to turn into bats) can be used in human form too. I'd also like vampiric grip because that would be all kinds of fun to do in human form too.

Don't you mean "Night Cloak: A shroud of bats feed on enemies within melee range". I don't think you can actually turn into a shroud of bats. I really don't like the inclusion of either of these abilities to be honest, seems a bit tacky.

Yar, 'twas in the gameplay demo they showed. It's like a teleportation type spell and you turn into bats and go a good bit forward.

Oh. I really don't like that, am I the only one who feels it cheapens the image of vampires in the Elder Scrolls ?

Well, it's a little cliche but we then again we know next to nothing about this type of vampires.

That's what I meant, have you ever seen another werewolf that wasn't dead or locked in a cage besides the Companions?

But that werewolf guy in falkreath can control himself though, at least to a certain degree.

I liked the Order of the Virtuous Blood in Oblivion, and I had a lot of fun playing a vampire hunter.

The Dawnguard seem pretty cool, and I'll probably do the same thing now in Skyrim.

Are the armoured trolls exclusively for the dawnguard? That would be awesome, it could balance out the gargoyle follower

Howard said its a move we can do, though I wonder how far forward.
