Honestly who is actually excited to be a part of the Dawnguard and not be a Vampire Lord...? Vampire Lords can summon gargoyles! GARGOYLES!!!

I am for one - I dont play evil arch types. Only heroics - so the Dawnguard are very interesting to me. Give me some damsals to save from the vamps or something. I just hope they didnt put all their efforts into the Vamps and both Dawnguards and Vamp missions will be equally entertaining. So far, all I have seen is the crossbow.

Vampire: Better gameplay (due to the transformation)

Dawnguard: Better storyline (Better mix of morallity within the characters)

Um I am.

I make several character builds and I play with several different styles. I just dont choose something because of looks I want a deep roleplaying experience based in the two groups.

Guess what I will make dorm characters that never join the Dawnguard or the vampires but I will have them ho around the area if both factions when it suits their interest its all about choice and options.

I think Dawnguard caters for everyone , if you dont like vampires or Villain types... then be a Dawnguard .

Well yeah, gameplay wise vampire is more enticing than dawnguard. But many people sides with Dawnguard for RP purpose.

There is a third choice as well you are not forced to join either faction join neither faction and use the content the expansion brings in besides the factions of course.

I'm going to be joining the Dawnguard. I'll already be cursed with lycanthropy anyway. I won't allow evil vampires to destroy the sun.

I have two characters, one is a warrior type, he's good-ish(he's done some naughty things for Daedric princes, but nothing for the ones like Mehrunes Dagon) who will be Dawnguard. This character is also the one I based off of myself and the choices I'd make, I like the sun. As for my second character, she's a wood elf assassin who loves killing people and svcking blood, so you know where she'll go.
All in all I like the Dawnguard better, like I said. I like the sun. :3

What you say is true, and if I have to cure it I think I will. We don't know much about the Dawnguard yet though, maybe they have no problem with werewolves. But if they're like the vampire hunters is most other universes, they'll hate werewolves just as much.

There are symptoms though, many npc comment on this such as smells like a wet dog, fur growing out from ear, etc.

We don't know much about Dawnguard yet so don't go around saying it will be more dull siding with them :tongue:

stuff like that is just there for the player. there is no symptoms or wolf like features on your character. plus the Dawnguard seem like a vampire only hunters because of their name.

I am. I have a deep loathing for Vampires. An inferno of anger, and hate that can never hope to be extinguished.

Good thing for me that Vampires are weak to fire.
