very true, but he makes an interesting character.

Also, would you not say that Ulysses was not even a footnote, only being mentioned once by Nash, and now he's the antagonist of the DLC series.

Also, I'm positive the picture with the robot legs is Liberty Prime. I would imagine it's just a nudge at FO3.

No i wouldnt, Ulysses is anything but a footnote since he comes out in the special edition poker cards and van buren ,Anthony doesn't.

Like the ones in vault 112 in FO3 where that crazy old scientist was. And optimus prime was built way on the east coast several years after the war and if i recall Mr.House said he was very busy making preperations for the war but he was a little late and faced many problems. so he cant do two things at once. Optimus prime was most likly devoloped by the miltary and not house

The giant robot isn't liberty prime.. Go and take a look at a picture of Liberty Prime feet and then compare.. Seeing as Liberty Prime was a joint venture between House's company Robco and General Atomics though, it's quite feasable that house took the Liberty Prime research and created a unique version for himself?

It might be an earlier version of Liberty Prime, a prototype. The one we see in the Capital Wasteland I imagine is a different Prototype or the same one pictured with House just with added reinforced armor to prepare it for war. http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110303133341/fallout/images/b/bc/House.jpg personality is based on http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101106050547/fallout/images/4/49/Howard_Hughes.jpg, so it's just a easter egg really.

Yes that's what I thought the first time I completed Dead Money. I ended my second DM playthrough today, and he talked about it during the conversation inside the Sierra Madre's Vault. He doesn't go into detail, he briefly mentions it. The devs put it in on purpose nonetheless.

Also: I'm not sure the BoS and the Enclave would have been able to get inside the facility. Elijah mentioned it's extremely dangerous and he almost didn't make it out alive. We only know about Elijah, Christine and presumably Ulysses gaining access to the Big Empty, and they're all pretty tough survivalists. I'm not sure the Brotherhood or the Enclave would risk losing a lot of men getting into a facility with unknown content.

Fort Independence. Cough.

Very plausible
Athony could have, in revenge, taken over the facility

I like this idea. And seems plausible.

I'm guessing hes long dead and the place is running off his commands or something.

Yeah I figured it was an easter egg too tbh. We can hope though right? lol It's such a shame LP got smahed to bits, I don't see anyone except house making/already made anything similar tbh now. Maybe the Enclave if all of their serious bases haven't been smashed. Thats kind of a long shot though I think.

It's better this way, otherwise Liberty Prime would essentially be godmoding.

I don't get how Anthony would be able to single handedly take over a military instalation. Or do you guys mean after the war?

Yeah, would be kinda cool though if house's ending becomes canon, the BoS manage to repair LP and the two giant mechs end up leading two armies against each other. BoS against a securitron MK2 army.. At least noone would be using pulse weapons lol

Just noticed that when you first speak to "yes man" he mentions the possibility that the platinum chip might activate a "giant robot"....

Anthony is hooked up to the defense systems at Big Empty, functioning as a human-A.I. hybrid, and because of his mental state the entire system has gone insane. Anthony is the eye in the screenshot, ravaged by insanity and rage, and you (The Courier) have to end him.

Buuut, Mass Effect 2 already kind of did that...

I'd raze Obsidian to the ground if they did this. :stare:

I'm pretty sure House has very little to do with the big empty besides maybe supplying some Robco tech that was probably bought or contracted by the government, its never stated wether or not securitrons were widely available but odds are House sold them to the military even if it was just a cover building a bunch of combat robots and not selling any would have been a huge red flag during the red scare that occured before the war and I doubt House would have wanted any amount of attention as he was putting his plan together lest the government sieze everything. Theres bound to be some already established tech at the big empty along with all of the experimental.

As long as we do not have to fight a form of Liberty Prime, I'm ok. I'd rather take on 10 behemoths with a switchblade than that thing.

Very good speculation going on here guys, learned quite a few things. I would like to point out that in DLC's it is tough for them to revolve around a main character too closely. If the Big Empty does have deep ties to Mr. House it could cause trouble when returning to the main land. One of those things could be dialog with Mr. House (asking him about the Big Empty, etc), but that should be possible to remedy (I assume they can add more dialog). Due to this I think that it is more likely to focus around Anthony House, but with references to Mr. House.

It could just be Mr. House provided securitrons to the military, or it could be something more. We can't know for sure

Well, we have to wonder where Anthony went, because the HH Tool Factory building is booby trapped, none of the traps are set off, yet Anthony is nowhere to be found. Either this is a Dev oversight, or something more inticate is in store.

Anywho, don't trust in euphanisms. Because I could give a damn about my family IRL.

I think your onto something with the Anthony House thing. So far, all DLCs that have been confirmed each tell the story of a character mentioned in the game
Dead Money= Elijah
Honest Hearts= Joshua Graham
Lonesome Road= Ulysses
So it only makes sense that
Old World Blues= Anthony House?
