Why I joined: I was an avid
Morrowind fan and very much excited about the upcoming release of
Oblivion.

Favorite games: Dungeons & Dragons (the pen & paper version), particularly v3.5, this includes
Pathfinder;
The Elder Scrolls III &
The Elder scrolls IV;
Baldur's Gate &
Baldur's Gate II;
Icewind Dale &
Icewind Dale II;
Placescape: Torment;
Medieval II: Total War;
Age of Empires II: Age of Kings; and Chess.
Favorite sports: I'm not much into sports, though, I did play soccer with friends as a child. I do enjoy billiards, especially 14.1 and 8-ball, and I'll usually get involved in tennis or archery if the opportunity arises. I'd love to develop some skill within the martial arts, for both health and recreation.

And some little info about you that amuses other people: I'm a 28-year-old male, married with three children. I take a strong interest in most intellectual pursuits including mathematics, the sciences, economics, government, philosophy, anthropology, and psychology. With the latter I've done a lot of reading on personality archetypes, in particular the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator derived from the work of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Jung. Within this classification I am an http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INTJ and frequently engage in more in depth discussions on various subjects at
http://intjforum.com/. I'm a self-taught programmer, but still an amateur. I've done extensive scripting for
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, primarily as part of the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14723 mod, of which I had the honor of being the project lead. My interest in game design goes back to childhood; only in the past decade did I really begin to indulge it. I have myriad other interests and a rather unique background, but I'm not willing to share too much more unless I become more familiar with an individual.
