When I joinedOriginally on the 28th of February, 2009 as "Outlander1621" though I had lurked for quite a bit in '08. I made this new account because I regretted not just using "Outlander" to begin with.
Why I joined:
I was a regular on the Morrowind forums at X-box.com for a while but then I discovered this place and well, never looked back
Where I normally post:
Skyrim general discussion. I lurk in the TES Lore forum quite a bit though. And obviously I come around here to CD
Favorite games:
Mortal Kombat. It's had it's ups and downs. The downs starting pretty much as soon as it went 3d. But I've always stuck by it because the first Mortal Kombat back on the Snes was the first game I really "got into" so to speak. I'm really glad to see it return to its roots in April!
Other favorite games include: Elder Scrolls, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead, Halo, Fallout 3/NV, Manhunt, And many, many more.
Favorite sports:
I'm not really a big sports fan, but I do enjoy a good game of Basketball. And I occasionally watch Football (soccer) and Boxing.
What part of the world I live:
I very sadly, call Iuka Mississippi my home. It's not as bad as most small towns you find in the south but I still cannot wait to move out of here.
-Fun Fact: Iuka is on the very north east corner of MS. I can walk to Alabama or Tennessee from my house. Not that those would be great destinations either.
And some little info about you that amuses other people:
One of my friends once described my personality as a cross between David Spade and Beetlejuice. I take it as a compliment.
My friends and I are planning two real life quests. One, once I turn
21 EDIT*
I just remembered -you only have to be 18 to drink in Europe correct? This trip may happen sooner than we thought! (I'm 18 now) -
we are going on a trip to Scandinavia to drink Mead in the homelands of the Vikings. And to just explore that part of the world.
Two, this may end up coinciding with quest one. The Seven Day Adventure! We are going to find a good place somewhere in the world to leave society and technology behind and go on a lord-of-the-rings-esque-journey out in mother nature. If you have any suggestions I'd like to hear them. Basically we just want a place where running into bears is not in the high percentile and a land where it's okay to just travel around without seeing any signs of society for seven+ days.
