My character shot a bunch of guards from various holds in the knees with arrows, thus stopping their adventuring days...

Two hundred years ago, the Dark Brotherhood made a mistake in their assumption that the entire Draconis bloodline had been exterminated. The assassin they sent failed to eliminate the son of Andreas Draconis.

Andreas had very little company at his tavern, The Drunken Dragon, save the single alcoholic guard who never seemed to leave. One night, however, a young woman by the name of Avita Florius, was passing through from Leyawiin, traveling north, and decided to stop in at The Drunken Dragon for the night. Avita and Andreas drank heavily, and somehow Andreas charmed her into his bed for the night. The following day she continued on her travels. She settled in Cheydinhal and gave birth to Giaus.

Avita was killed by a Dunmer robber in her home a year after Giaus was born, just as she had finished preparing to return south and announce the child to his father, Andreas, whom she didn't realize was already dead. Giaus, who then took his mother's maiden name of Florius, was remanded to the state, and taken in at an orphanage. He grew up on the streets of Cheydinhal, running with Dunmer gangs, and was often in trouble with the law. He married a drunken bar wench, and had two children. It was at this point he and his wife decided to turn their lives around and left the city with his wife and kids to start a farm, the beginnings of which was difficult on his family. His daughter Rena was killed by wolves at the age of twelve, and his wife died of rock joint which she had contracted while attempting to save her daughter. Giaus and his son Denel were left to work the farm together, and managed to prosper somewhat before Giaus died and Denel took over.

Denel married and raised three healthy children; two sons, Jesan and Sulinus, and a daughter Camilla. The blooming family, still with the name of Florius resided at a growing farmstead near Lake Poppad. Denel's eldest son, Jesan, grew to manage a branch of the farm and subsequently raised two children of his own, Bellona and Ciaus. His brother, Sulinus had returned to Cheydinhal to open a store, but married later in life, and his wife had just given birth to a son. Unfortunately, the newborn wouldn't live to see his first year.

Denel, now retired, had been digging into his family's heritage, and had received paperwork from the Imperial City regarding his father's arrival at the orphanage in Cheydinhal. His research ultimately led him to discover his true Draconis bloodline. His requests for records, however, also drew the attention of an agent for the Dark Brotherhood in the Imperial City who was alerted to the resurfacing of the Draconis name, and followed up on who had been making requests for information. In order to avoid embarrassment for their failure, the Dark Brotherhood immediately set out to finish the job.

Sulinus' wife had brought the newborn to the family farm for a visit when the Dark Brotherhood arrived. Bellona and Ciaus were playing at the lake, only to return after the deed had been completed, and the assassins had left the scene. Seeing their family slain, they fled to Cheydinhal to find their uncle. When they arrived, they found the store locked. Bellona knew the secret hiding place her uncle stored a spare key, and entered through the back where she found Sulinus face down in a pool of blood.

Already in her late teens when the slaughter of her family occurred, Bellona was a powerful young woman, and had often watched the guards training in Cheydinhal with sword and shield. She became focused on finding justice for her family. Having discovered her grandfather's research, she and young Ciaus found the gravestones of the Draconis family, originally thought to have been exterminated two hundred years earlier. While her brother was still only 10 years of age, they agreed that they would separate, and that, like her great-grandfather, Ciaus should disappear under a new name. He left her at the gates of the Imperial City and walked to the temple district where he begged under a new name for several days before he was taken in and given over to an orphanage.

Bellona dodged the Dark Brotherhood for another fifteen years, and finally managed to find a brief bit of refuge in northern town of Bruma, near the border to Skyrim. While she spent those years drawing the attention of the assassins, Ciaus grew in secrecy and safety, and over the years she had managed to learn some basic skills with a shield, and after numerous assassination attempts had picked up skills in restoration magic.

In Bruma, another assassin managed to get her pinned and cut a deep gash in her left cheek. She escaped his grasp, and caved in his head with an old iron mace. At this point she decided to attempt to flee over the pass, and into Skryim. She arrived at the border with little more than ragged clothes and that bloodied, old, iron mace where she stumbled into some sort of ambush and was taken into custody by Imperial Legionnaires, mistaken for a bandit or some sort of Nord rebel.

As her own people lowered her onto a block, she was dazed, tired, and hungry. Her emotions ran deep with rage for the loss of her family, and she resigned to understand the justice as she stared up at the hooded executioner.

Along the lines of my roleplay...

Vein was travelling home from work one day after purchasing a copy of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. He was hit by a car while crossing a street and blacked out in a puddle of blood. When he awoke, he found himself in a dense thicket of woods. As he tried to find his way through the forest he was now in he Stumbled upon a group of men, all seemingly older than him, dressed my like a TES character would be. he assumed he was knocked off the road and into a wood where a bunch of LARP's were engaged in a heavy TES roleplay until he saw an arrow pierce the skull of one such person from the group. He thought someone was trying to kill them so he ran only to be captured by Imperial Legion General Tullius. He was slapped in irons and perched on the wagon. There is where he met Raylof of Riverwood. Much to his surprise he found himself in Skyrim. He thought to himself if he had died. After the events unfolded and the dragon attacked he made his way to Riverwood with Raylof. From there he warned Balgruff of the dragons and to the advice of his court wizard headed to Winterhold to seek the College for answers as to how he ended up there. With knowledge of the lore of the world it didnt take him long to go under the guise of a nord and become a famed adventurer and conjurer thanks to his time in Winterhold. He spent his days slaying dragons, among those he counted Alduin. Married a smart Dunmer Mage from the college, settled down for a life of debauchery merriment and lots and lots of hot Dark Elven six!... but seriously he didn't marry the dark elf girl, he just hung out with her and adventured with her but well thats life in Skyrim.

The Elder Scroll forms Kestrel out of nothing, right next to the border of Skyrim to fulfill the prophecy. Kestrel, while in his ragged clothes, completely flustered and confused, sees General Tullius and Commander Maro seizing a bearded man. They order their soldiers to tie his hands and put a cloth over his mouth to prevent...unfavorable consequences. This man is taken to a cart, intended to be hung for trespassing. Both of the high-ranking Imperials see Kestrel as well about twenty meters away, and successfully grab a hold of him. They tie him up and take him to the cart as well. The cart contains some ill-fated, trespassing Nords. The cart heads toward Helgen, making the trespassers and Kestrel to be executed...That is their fate...fate?

My Argonian flew into a rage after hearing that his wife and family had been killed and murdered the town he had lived in. The sad part was that he was an honorable man as well. Now he has put it behind him and is the Harbinger of the Companions and the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood. I only kill when I feel it is just.

Runar Jonsson, a respectfull nord, even though he aint racist, was coming back home from cyrodill. He lived in Anvil (the haunted mansion, wich he inherited from he′s grand grand father, that helped martin save the world) when he found out, he′s house was haunted (LULZ). Of fear of living in a house were ghosts roamed the basemant (wich was full of ol′ Nordis mead) he had to find a way to rid the house of the ghosts. He sold the house for 5000 septims to some poor fella, in deadra armor, and went out of the city b4 the poor fella actually took a look inside.

He walked up to Bruma, after clearing about 20 poorly made dungeons on the way, he found himself near the border of he′s homeland. He knew he could start over, maybe live in a small village, working the lumber mill, or do something else peacefull. He went to the stables in Bruma, saw a caravan, threw 20 septims in the face of the driver, and lied down on the caravan to sleep.
Suddenly he was woken by a awesome guy named Ralof (or something like that) and he knew this was the beginning of a new freindship.

I was out hunting, and I mistook some poor adventurer for a bear. Luckily, I've never been a good shot and I shattered his kneecap, as apposed to his, well, skull. Sadly, he did not view it the same way I did, and I soon found myself arrested for attempted murder, as well as the creation of a horrible meme.

My first character, named Blade 'n' Bone, was a generic barbarian Nord, and had no background. He only lasted a couple days before getting killed. BnB was simply my way of getting oriented with how Skyrim works.

2nd character: a Nord fighter mercenary named Thor a'Zyyne, grew up facinated by tales of Cyrodiil's dungeons. He longed to finally plunder one in search of gold!

But as he plundered a few ancient forts and Ayleid ruins, Thor came to the conclusion that they had all been picked clean 200 years earlier by a slew of others like Renee Gade II and Dyan phor a'Cauz.

Disappointed, he joined the Imperial army (like his father wanted him to). He learned some valuable fighting and strategic skills here, but since Thor had grown up reading about the conquers and exploits of the great adventurers of 200 years prior, and Thor really wanted to have this sort of fame. and money.

He wound up on the cart to his execution due to some sort of mix-up. He doesn't exactly know how it happened, he was just accused of wrongdoing. No official reason was given for this accusation, though.

My current character Claire Voyance the Cleric went to Skyrim to see if she could aid the war. She possesses a number of healing skills and originally went to aid the Imperial's side of the army as a nurse.

Unfortunately, Claire wound up on the back of the cart after being accused of daedra worship. What happened: she got a knack for Conjuration, and was able to conjure up a wolf. The soldiers in her unit mistook this wolf for some sort of daedra. Superstitious, they demanded Claire be removed from their unit and they find another healer at once!

Now that Claire is actually in Skyrim, she has not made a choice for either Imperials or Stormcloaks. she sees her "job" as to banish evil as best she can for the greater good of the people, just as Claire's heroine from Cyrodiilic days 200 years prior, Dyan phor a'Cauz, had once commanded.

My mage was making his way to Winterhold to join the college, when an imperial asked if he could spare a healing spell. Being the terrible mage that he is, he accidentally used a fireball spell and killed the imperial (okay, so I just pulled that out of my ass, but whatever).

My Nord came from a faraway tribe of werewolves in which he grew up as a warrior. However, for some odd reason, he had not been able to carry the beastblood of his tribesmen. As such of the ways of his people, he left the familiar lands of his people behind him as he travels to the ancient homeland of Skyrim to find his own place, and to find a way for him to become one with the beast like his kin.

However upon entering these lands, he is captured by the imperial forces for being at a bad place during a bad time (a fight between the stormcloaks and imperials). Thus, he finds himself on the prisoner cart.
