How did your character end up on the wagon?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:42 am

So I finally made it! I came from Cyrodil to seek new start, in the land of Nords, land of mountains, the land of Skyrim!
The leaving from Cyrodil was right decision. I couldnt stay there a moment longer. The memory of my wife and son was too heavy for me to carry. They were murdered... Everything I have was gone...

I was the leader of thieves guild in Cyrodil, its not the most honorable path and Im not so proud of it. But stealing and hunting with my bow is only thing Im very good at. One of my customer's wanted me to steal some crown of Jarl's. I managed to get it but they caught me near the city enterance. But no, they didnt throw me into jail or mine. I got the most painful punishment man can get. They murdered my family. After that they sent message to all citys of Cyrodil that Im a wanted man. I couldnt go anywhere without getting guards or bounty hunters after me. My only choise was to leave Cyrodil for good.

After I came to Skyrim. I saw some soldiers near the road. Wearing some kind of blue costumes.
I went to them, to ask direction to Solitude. But right before I opened my mouth, soldiers, wearing red costumes attacked. It was mass confusion going on there. Soldiers with blue costumes didnt have a chanse against that well planned ambush. Before I even realize im sitting in wagon.

We stopped at Helgen. I saw the headsman standing near the block. I knew this was my end, I was about to go Sovangard. They didnt belive Im not one of those blue costume soldiers, Stormcloacks, I've heard they are. It was some kind of rebellion going on in Skyrim. There I was, head on the block, watching headsman sharping his axe. I couldnt belive after all this, it will end like this. When headsman raises his axe. I saw it! I couldnt belive my eyes!
This is where my journey begins! :)

My newest Imperial Character name Darius is an escaped gladiator from the Imperial city's Ludus. He was Champion of Cyrodiil and Slayer of the Mad Troll. Darius and a few others had hopes of going to Skyrim, on the way his men were ambushed and killed. Only Darius survived and was caught by the vile Legion.

Correct me if I err, but doesn't the game pretty much state the player character had just happened to be around when they arrested the other guys? They took everyone they saw, guilty or not.

Doesn't mean you cannot have an additional background, though.

Name: Sevarn Tenabla
Born: 4E 171
Race: Argonian
six:Male

Beginning:

Sevarn was born on the Southern island of Argonian-occupied Morrowind to a famed Argonian mercenary and his Argonian mage wife. Feeling that Dunmer would attack, Sevarn's parents gathered their belongings and traveled the road for their mercenary work. From Morrowind to Cyrodiil to all over Tamriel, the group gathered followers and soon proved to be a successful group known for getting the job done. As Sevarn grew up, he learned from the various members of the group the many adventures they had previously gone on and the many sites they have seen. This, along with the monuments the group went through, filled young Sevarn's mind with countless ideas of what adventures he could go through. His father, a talented warrior, taught Sevarn the skills of the blade while his mother, a talented mage, taught him the many miracles of magic hidden in his blood. As Sevarn continued his voyage with his family, he honed his skills so much that everyone was amazed at how much he wielded both blade and magic. One person in the Imperial City even said, "That young man's skill is so great, I wonder if he isn't part Orc or Altmer!" While everyone was thinking of what he would do, Sevarn had vivid dreams, all repeating a single word. No one in the group knew what it meant but Sevarn would constantly remember it for years to come: Dovakiin.

The Young Argonian grows up:

Upon reaching 21 years of age, Sevarn's family had retired from the mercenary business. His parents had reached old age and couldn't continue after their last venture with a large group of Dunmer bandits. After saying their goodbyes and paying their appropriate dues, the group disbanded with each member going their separate ways. Sevarn went with his family back to the province of Morrowind where they settled into an old home they bought with their share of the gold. Sevarn spent a few months enjoying the sights of Morrowind but his parents knew that he was destined for great things and saw his yearning for adventure. Giving him some armor, a sword, gold, food, and potions, the family bid farewell to Sevarn as he went on a merchant ship. Sevarn had difficulty leaving his family but he knew that he had to get answers for what Dovakiin meant and see what other lands held for him. He said farewell to his family and went on the ship, his young heart filled with wonder at would happen next.

Upon leaving the ship, Sevarn grew a reputation through every town he went through. His yearn for adventure had lead him to various lands and various journies. He once went toe to toe with a Frost Atornach and even managed to capture the attention of a Jarl. He was quite the friendly Argonian, his time socializing with the members of his group improving his personality. Not only being friendly, Sevarn was also known for his skills with weapons and magic, and his whimsical humor. He even named his signature move, "The Dovakiin Special." His time with the mercenaries created a colorful character. His skill and humor was so well known that some would say, "His wit is as sharp as his skill with a blade and can burn you as well as his fire." Sevarn would diffuse a situation as quickly as it began. "Sevarn could stop a group of bandits threatening a town or a drunken argument." While his wit was well known, Sevarn also received many friends who saw the same thing: Sevarn's desire to win the heart of a fair maiden. Though many couldn't look past his scaly skin, Sevarn would always flirt with the most attractive woman he could find, almost always finding disappointment in her rejection of him. Nevertheless, his journey for his significant other would continue. While he journeyed to many places, Sevarn looked at a map and saw one place he never went to, the one place that his group barely went to, the one place filled with enough hazards that regular men would give up but would provide greatness to anyone brave enough to venture into it: The Province of Skyrim

How the Argonian got where he is now:

Sevarn looked at the map and wondered how Skyrim would be like. As he gathered his belongings, he walked down the path to Skyrim and thought, "No one knows me there. I'll be an outsider yet it might provide another opportunity to prove my skills and wit. Who knows, I might even find a wife there." Sevarn continued down the path and went into a city. There he bought the passport that would enable him to enter Skyrim. As he held it in his hands, he said "Better not lose this. With prices going up, I'll need to pay an arm and a leg for another!"

Sevarn continued down his path where he noticed a crying woman nearby. As he went to help her, he noticed that she was a beautiful Dunmer woman. He thought, "A Dunmer!? Never thought I'd see one on the path to Skyrim. My parents did tell how the Dunmer enslaved us yet she doesn't seem so bad. Who knows, she is so beautiful that I may just find my true love." As Sevarn helped her up, he asked "Why are you crying?" The woman replied, "My family was murdered by bandits and I've lost everything. I can't handle it!" Sevarn, feeling pity for the woman, said, "I am going to Skyrim. I'd enjoy the company there." The woman looked happy and wiped her tears away. Sevarn helped her up and she said her name was Renia and would accompany him. Though he was cautious of accepting a Dunmer, he couldn't reject a beautiful woman, so Sevarn allowed the woman to accompany him and slightly flirted with her. Renia blushed a bit and flirted back. Sevarn noticed this and thought, "She can actually see past this scaly skin?! I'm must be lucky!" Sevarn and Renia continued for a few days and stopped at a small inn. There, Renia told her feelings to Sevarn and spent the night with him. As Sevarn woke up from bed, he thought,"What a great night. Who knew the Dunmer were that great in bed!" Before he could continue, he noticed Renia was gone. "Don't tell me she..." said Sevarn as he ran to his pack. He checked his pack and, aside from some gold and food, everything was just where he left it. Sevarn sighed and said, "That woman. I had hoped she wasn't a bandit but I guess she was too good to be true. As least nothing important was taken."

Sevarn gathered his things and continued onward towards Skyrim. As he passes the border, Sevarn was stopped by Imperial guards who said, "Stop right there Argonian! No one crosses the border illegally on my watch! Now show your passport or it's off to jail!" Sevarn confidently handed his passport to the guards who then looked at him angrily. "Do you take us as fools?! This is obviously a fake. You are clearly a Stormcloak spy and must die!" Sevarn looked at the passport and was shocked when he saw it was clearly forged. He thought, "That woman must have put a forged one and took mine after our night at the inn. It may seem normal at first but someone like an Imperial guard knows how to find fakes. I'm screwed now." As the guards placed handcuffs on Sevarn, they carried him off to a cell in a dank jail. As he sat in the jail, he wondered, "Is this truly the end of my journey? To think after all I've been through, I'll die because of a beautiful Dunmer woman. I swear I'll make her pay if I get out!" Much later, the guards came to his cell and said, "Time to go to your execution, traitor." As he was carried away, he thought to himself, "I hate Dunmers."

From Morrowind to Skyrim, my Redguard character`s always being accused of a crime he didn`t commit. He`s innocent. Honest guv`nor!

No doubt in the next game he`ll be a prisoner again.

He's now over 200 years old.

Kasil Brahman
Race: Redguard
Profession: Merchant(Weapons Broker)

Kasil had received a contract to bring a shipment of weapons to Darkwater Crossing in Skyrim. He and the caravan had crossed the border without incident and made their way to Darkwater Crossing, unaware that the head merchant Ahtmar had set them up. He had informed the Imperials of the shipment and its destination, and they were lying in wait for both Kasil and Ulfric. Kasil found it hard to fathom that Ahtmar would betray him so just for his courting of the merchant's daughter, but apparantly he had.

So after escaping Helgen, Kasil a fine swordsman, decided that returning to Hammerfall or Cyrodil were both out of the question, so he followed Hadvar to Riverwood and thus began his new life here in Skyrim.

So this is the story of how I ended up in Skyrim, last of my family and name. Strange how things turned out, the tradegy that sent me here, to my people's homeland ended up giving me a new life, an important life with powers that I could only dream of. My father would be jealous, By the nine I miss them. So here is my story.

My family settled down in a small town called Cropsford. My family was peacefull and we farmed a large amount of supplies for the Imperial City. We had no enemies, at least we thought we had. One night I was in the fields checking for Goblins and other wild animals that sometimes bothers us. The usual. Suddenly I heard a scream from inside the family home. I rushed towards the home, sword drawn and ready to fight. The door was off its hinges and an assassin leapt past me. My father and two brothers chased after him swords in hand screaming. My mother was nowhere to be seen. By the blood on his blade I assumed the worse. My mother had been killed. We chased him onto the fields and were ambushed by several assassins. We fought for what seemed like days but most likely was only minutes.

My youngest brother was first to be slain, stabbed through the chest. The blade must have been enchanted as he burst into flames before my very eyes. My father shouted at me and cast a spell. A small portal appeared in the field just outside the fight. I immediatly understood what he wass doing, giving us an escape. My brother ran for the portal, as did I. Just as he was about to reach the portal though, he was shot by an arrow. Straight through the neck. Poor sod didnt stand a chance, he was dead before he hit the floor. I swear I saw his soul get drawn towards the bowman, I hope he was free to pass into the void. I reached the portal and turned to face the battle. Three assassins were bearing down on me and I saw my father behind me casting his spell, transferring the energy into the portal to keep it open. Then from behind him a sword stabbed through his chest. Blood poured from the wound and from out of his mouth. And the portal began to collapse. I had no choice, I had to leap through the portal, to the unknown on the other side.

Just after I appeared on the other side, the portal collapsed with a magical explosion. The explosion flung me to the ground, knocking me out. When I came to, I was lying in a tent. There was a person kneeling over me, she was casting a spell and I started to feel better. I gathered that she was casting a healing spell on me. The spell didnt heal me properly, I still felt really weak and I think I had many bruises that were still not healed. I may also have had a broken rib or two. She left after healing me, leaving me to look around the tent. I was in a tent with other wounded that suffered from wounds like deep cuts and arrow wounds. I must have been in a war camp were the wounded were being cared for. I lay there for hours, several times the lady came in to heal me some more and to treat the wounds of the other wounded. I must have been in the camp for nearly a week.

Thats when the attack happened. At first I thought it was the assassins. Feeling exposed I looked for a weapon. It was only after hearing the screams and clang of metal on metal when I realised that the attackers werent the assassins. I pulled myself up, with great pain, intent on helping the people that had cared for me so. I stood up, shakily, and stumbled to the flaps for the tent. I stumbled out and looked over a battlefield of men, warriors, fighting. There were Imperials fighting other warriors dressed in blue cuirass's that I didnt recognise. As I stumbled forward further an Imperial came from my side and smashed the hilt of his sword into my face, knocking me out again. Thats when I woke up on the cart leading to Helgen. The rest? The rest is history.

While hunting at the border, I shot an arrow at an Elk but it went astray. I hit some poor adventurer who had been helping out the Imperials. They couldn't get me on assault because the guy wasn't technically a soldier or a citizen under their protection, so they nabbed me for border-running. Jerks.

Jaywalking.... (cookie if you get reference)

But seriously, J'derras was born in Hammerfell, parents were killed by Thalmor, J'derras fled before he was killed. Had to cross into Skyrim before Cyrodiil due to border patrol between Hammerfell and Cyrodiil. Guards mistook me, a Khajiit, for a rebel? (maybe they were drunk? )

My Altmer Arwen was wanted in Cyrodiil after killing a Thalmor officer after he ordered her to kill a family of imperials. She had been proud to serve in the Thalmor uprising and war against the imperials although she always had lingering doubts about whether it was their right to wipe out every human and eradicate the worship of Talos. Anyway after killing the officer she became wanted in every Thalmor held province and decided to escape to skyrim (even though the Thalmor were there as well) in the hope of finding a remote place to lie low, unfortunately she ran right into the imperial ambush and was sentenced to death when Tullius told the Thalmor waiting in Helgan about her

My character got completely lost on the way from Leyawiin to Bruma. A blizzard got her turned around, and she ended up passing the city right by and just kept going north.

She eventually made it into the mountains of southern Skyrim, where she ran into Ulfric as he was fleeing the Imperials. Unfortunately that's when Ulfric got captured and she was taken prisoner too, assumed to be a Stormcloak guard.
