How do I get back into Skyrim...

Just turn on your 360, load up a new game, and leave your character idle in Skrim for 5 rl days.
I see what you did there...

Like others have recommended I think you should play Dragon Age. You won't regret it. It's a great story. Then I would go for Baldur's Gate. I think I'll play BG one last time this spring then say goodbye to it. The world must go on. :-)

I highly recommend you get BG for PC so you can use the BG 2 engine from pocketplane.com, because BG 1 graphics looks terrible on todays monitors, and there are lots of great mods for it to improve the gaming experience. After that most of the bugs in Skyrim should be squished and some great mods available for it too. :-)
Installed BG1 last night and was going to try the BG1tutu(Mod to use BG2 graphics for BG1) when I realized that I need to own BG2, which I don't, and which is last on my priority listed budget. Bust. Oh well, guess I'll just experience the graphics like I did when it was released. Still exciting.

Ryan Richard, you made a thread about asking how you wanna get back into Skyrim and all you're doing is talking about other games...

Simple. If you wanna play Skyrim, you will. Thank you for a meaningless nothing and you're welcome for mine.

Amnesia - It'll be like you've never even played Skyrim!

Why do you feel that you have to get in a game? Just face it, Skyrim is boring now.

The best solution is to play Oblivion. At least that's what I did lol.

My two year old son deleted my level 42 mage, so I stopped playing for about two weeks. It took several attempts to get back into Skyrim, but after creating several characters I found my groove again. Sure, replaying it so soon won't be like the first time you played it. But once you get that in mind, you'll have a good time.

I like starting the game again. Did it a couple times, deleting my old saves and trying different arrangements (health/mana/stamina and perks) with the same idea for the build (usually a mage). When i do that i always find new things and pay attention to features of story and world that i've missed before. Just start again, after arriving at Whiterun, just take a ride to another town, and be happy. Ah! And dont fast travel ^^, its really a good advice to enjoy the skyrim's world.

Well I have a level 10 or so khajiit that I started a while back and saved to the cloud just to try out the cloud(Why I didn't upload my main character is beyond me lol), so I'll probably focus on some different skill with him. My original Dark Elf was a Mage with proficiencies in one-handed, destruction, sneak, enchanting and light armor with emphasis on health and magika, originally, and following up with major stamina upgrades starting at around the 90 hour mark. My khajiit is focusing on heavy armor, 2 handed, illusion, conjuration, and a major emphasis on stamina. Also keeping my claws sharp. I love the role-playing khajiit's help me achieve with night vision and claws.

I think with this playthrough I will focus on the main missions(Dragons and Civil war). My Dark Elf focused on exploration and by the time I was doing quest that used radiant story for localization, I was being sent across northern Tamriel to extremely remote locations because I had pre-quested all close locations lol.

I played oblivion for close to a year in preparation for Skryim so I am still a tad 'Oblivioned' out right now.

Because I like video games and that's what I do as my hobby. I disagree about Skyrim being boring now, just a little bitter at the moment.

Never mind, the save file was fragmented when deleted, so the core of the file remained but was read as corrupted by my Xbox 360. It was worth a try though. Also, I would like to recommend to anyone who needs to recovery deleted save files (Not for Skyrim, though, because of the aforementioned reason) use the software FATXplorer. It allows you to hook up your HDD to a pc and access your files. The person who made the software is amazing as well and emailed me back with answers to all my questions within seconds of me asking them. Here's the link.
