So how many of you got the Collector's Edition?

Post » Wed May 25, 2011 11:45 pm

I got it from gamestop with the ce guide because I am so excited I just had to get it and for only twenty more it was worth it. I also just like stuff.

I want it to be my first CE. I wasn't so excited for it, I would cancel it and spend my money elsewhere right now, but I've been waiting half a year for this [censored] game and I WILL enjoy it on release day.

As a fan of CEs in general this one looks like one of the best. I bought the lunch box edition for Fallout 3 and I love that one, and this one looks even greater.

Cannot wait until next Monday. Yeah for Midnight releases!!!

That svcks. I'm sure you have tried other branches? I guess you could always go with Amazon? Not sure if that is an option for you.

Ouch but at the same time lmao.

This is going to be my first CE ever too. Kinda cool to hear the Platinum chip could skyrocket in value someday.

There are more places to shop than gamestop...

And I got it because it's well worth it.
I'm going to love that deck of cards.

Yes, and I got it for the price of the regular game. Release day delivery for 99 cents, as well.

Yes! I love my FO3 bobblehead; wasn't going to miss this one in case I love NV as much as I love FO3.

for those here in America and havent had a chance to get the CE. Best Buy will more than likely have the collectors editions. they had fallout 3 CEs. they still have some bioshock 2, MW2, and Halo Reach CEs in stock even long after release.

I preordered the CE for NV as well.

Agreed. Still, it would have been nice to get some kind of in-game item, even if only a knick knack for your home.

Heck...I might even get the FO3 CE someday down the road when I can afford it since there's still quite a few on Ebay for about the same price as this current one. I know a lot of people missed it, but I feel a little left out without the Bobblehead still. That stuff would be pretty cool on my "collectible stuff" shelf.

I voted it didn't look worth it.

Don't get me wrong though, there are several factors involved.

- its too expensive for me right now
- the gamestore over here won't have it
- I only bought in my life two CE's and found out that I don't even really look at the stuff that's inside or better to say its of no real use to me

I pre-ordered the regular edition and that comes with the classic and the caravan pack which is the most important for me, ingame items that I can use.

Edit:
Talking about the PC version btw.

Its only 20 dollars??? What did your parents pay for it? twenty dollars could be a lot of cash.

i liked the idea of All Roads and figured that was worth an extra 20, i really enjoy behind the scenes stuff so the dvd is nice, i doubt i'll ever use the poker chips or cards but they'll look nice on a shelf, plus the CE box looks great. i figured that it was more than worth the extra cash for a game i'll really enjoy.

Got two copies of CE (one for wife and I, one for good friend), and a 3rd regular edition so wife and I both have discs to play at the same time.

Most of my friends at work wait all night for new iPhones and other such gadgets, I wait for New Vegas. Those fewls!
