So how many of you got the Collector's Edition?

Post » Wed May 25, 2011 4:11 pm

Got two copies of CE (one for wife and I, one for good friend), and a 3rd regular edition so wife and I both have discs to play at the same time.

Most of my friends at work wait all night for new iPhones and other such gadgets, I wait for New Vegas. Those fewls!

(shifts in comfy red chair to drink from wine glass, then hassles with the fez on his head)

Fools indeed.

I hope the All Roads will get into how the other raider gangs have spread out this far. (vipers / jackals)

I've ordered one from the UK about a month ago. I'm from the Netherlands and couldn't find a CE version for the PC anywhere :cryvaultboy:

Hmm...Kmart offers them for pre-order but the page looks a little iffy. No image and in the cart it's just called Bethesda

I got it because I'm a big fat Fallout dork and I'm not ashamed to admit it. If I'd had the dough to spend on the Fallout 3 Collector's Edition I would have, I was a very sad panda about missing out on that but life goes on. By the way, I got my hands on a few of the poker chips from a guy that works at Gamestop and they seem pretty nice. Pics below for anyone who cares, I apologize for the crappy pictures; they were taken with my phone.

Heck...I might even get the FO3 CE someday down the road when I can afford it since there's still quite a few on Ebay for about the same price as this current one. I know a lot of people missed it, but I feel a little left out without the Bobblehead still. That stuff would be pretty cool on my "collectible stuff" shelf.

yYou can find it basically brand new for any system http://www.half.ebay.com/ for around $50.

I did want it, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't shell out that much money.

The novel really was the "make it or break it" factor for me too. And I agree, my bookshelf is filled with everything except books.

because $20 more is not a lot considering all the cool stuff you get. also developers dont really make much, so if theyre as awesome as beth/ob its nice to give them a little extra.

I would have, but the overnight shipping promotion from Gamestop didn't include the Collectors Edition, so I decided not to.

I picked it up mostly for the collector end of it, I picked up the hardback guide as well even if I do not use it for the first character. I know I will never sell any of the pieces so I might as well have everything that was available.
