How many of you managed to get the thing? What was your incentive? Mine was reading that book, and the DVD seems like something cool to see too.

No, I'm not putting 20$ extra just for a book and some poker chips you can't even gamble with, Now if they had real poker chips that would be a different story.

I had to order it from Gamestop, but would have preferred Amazon. However Amazon appears to have sold out rather early.

Aye. The graphic novel seemed to be worth the extra 20 dollars alone, but the playing cards and DVD really drew me in.

Yeah I got the CE mostly cause I wanted to read All Roads. I'm a svcker for background stories n such so it was a must have. The other stuff didnt look too impressive except the deck of cards could be fun to look at. Another reason for me to get it was cause I missed the chance to get the FO3 CE.

Extra stuff, I was hoping it would come in another Lunch Box, hopefully the Chip Case (or whatever its supposed to be) is more durable than it looks.

The is the first collectors edition of any game that I wanted, and to be honest its not about anything thats in it, It's just because I've been waiting for a long time for this and I really want to go all out and fully enjoy it. All Roads looks pretty dope though.

The only collectors edition I ever bought until now was the Fallout 3 one.( Worth every penny)
I've gotten a few free or as gifts but never bought one....the World of Warcraft 3 was a nice one..nice big artwork book etc. ( Won it )
And I ordered the New Vegas Collectors edition...( months ago)

No other game franchise is worth the extra coin for a few baubles.

actually, I'm beginning to wonder if I ordered the Collectors Edition and if I did if it's going to be there at the 22nd. I pre-ordered about as early as possibly could at Gamestore:E-plaza (In the Netherlands by the way) But when I try to order it from their site they don't even have the Collectors Edition.

What am I going to do now? I want my CE and I want it on time but so far I haven't seen it anywhere online with Dutch online sellers. I also would dread going back there to ask, since I have been bothering them non-stop to ask about stuff about the game.

I got the Collector's Edition solely for the purpose of the Lucky Platinum 38 Chip. I got the Oblivion Collector's Edition several years ago and that Septim Coin has increased in money value and demand two-hundredfold or more. Aside from that, I'm really happy about the "All Roads" graphic novel. I love back stories to compliment my favorite video games.

I also got the Collector's Edition Fallout New Vegas Strategy Guide basically because I was going to eventually get a New Vegas guide anyway. I might as well have pre-ordered the guide right now. The three reasons I went with the Collector's guide is because it's hardcover and it has almost 40 more pages than the regular edition. I'm to curious to see what those pages are not to get it. The last reason is because it only costs $20.99(USD) on Amazon.

Yup, I hate myself for not getting the Fallout 3 Collector's Edition, even though I got the Oblivion Collector's.

I use to get quite a bit of collectors editions and only now get one for franchises I love or games that appeal to me on a massive level. Fallout is one of my favorite franchises so the choice was pretty easy.

My main reason was the novel. I spent many, many hours reading the Fallout Wiki after playing FO3 just to learn more about the Fallout universe. So I'll definitely enjoy the novel. The chips, cards and making of DVD aren't as important to me, but still cool additions.

Also, regardless of the fact that many people panned it, I enjoyed KotOR 2 far more than I did KotOR. That being the case I wanted to show a little extra support for this game and Obsidian.

Poker Playing Fallout junkie, that I am, there was really no other option but to get it.

Yeah, this is my plan. I didn't pre-order NV, but when I bought FO3 on release day, the store had the CE on the shelves. Hopefully it will be the same case with NV. I'd like to read All Roads, but I'm not too bothered about the rest--I'll look through the cards and watch the DVD, but then that stuff will just sit in the box in the back of a cupboard.

If I can't get the CE on release day, I'm sure I'll eventually find All Roads on Ebay like I did with the FO3 art book and DVD.
