How much DLC will they do?

Operation Anchorage took a while to complete. Nothing like 10 hours, but it was well worth paying for.
The Pitt I did not purchase
Broken Steel was huge, it also opened up a lot of things including level cap rising
Point Lookout was more for aesthetics I believe, I did not purchase it
Mothership Zeta was rather nice. I enjoyed playing it through once, however I was not EXTREMELY pleased with it.
Point lookout wasthe best one! Sheesh......

Someone (at E3 I believe) said there would be another landmass in Dawnguard the size of the soul cairn but they wouldn't say anything more about it.

None of them were more then 10 hours?

If that's so you can't compare them to Dawnguard.

The mainquest alone is said to be 10-20 hours.

I don't think you can use Fallout to gage how many TES DlCs there will be.
Yeah I'd say that point lookout was the most indepth. I personally enjoy a combination of new item content and map content, vs just quest content.

Although it isn't a great indicator, it's the only one I personally have. I hope their DLCs contain non-quest material.

I am thinking atleast four majors ones, they did that many for fallout 3 so Skyrim should atleast have that many.

Well for Fallout 3 was different, the DLCs aren't as big. I say 2, I mean Oblivion had one huge expansion, Morrowind had 2 big expansions... see the trend?

As long as they can make a profit and there is enough fan demand for it, they will continue to release dlc.

I really hope they will keep working on Skyrim. I would like to see this game one day become balanced. They're definitely doing things right by listening to what players want. Vampire and werewolf perks, dragonbone weapons, crossbows, and mounted combat to boot! There is A LOT of content to be added to skyrim (dwemer castles for purchase, stronghold creation, cabin construction, becoming a Jarl are just some) and I know that a lot of it can be found in modding but I would hope that Bethesda does not put off a lot of necessary things for the game, which in turn would screw console users out of a lot of content. Unless of course they manage to push Microsoft or Sony's buttons and get us console users a mod download option.

Really don't want spell crafting... I don't want 5 spells that look like fire bolt... I want spells that do different things and are unique from the others... I bet they'll do 4 large ones with little ones to fill that gap within the time they will be released and I'm quite sure the DLCs are already planned out... They are eventually going to show off Heartfire soon:)
