Interested to hear about people's characters

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 6:41 pm

So I'd just like to hear what type of characters people are currently playing as.

I have three characters at the moment:

A male Wood Elf, who is a Legate in the Imperial Legion, he is an expert archer, a master of stealth, sided with Paarthurnax in the Alduin situation, likes to work alone, is married to Ysolda and is a general do gooder.

A female Imperial who is currently enrolled at the college of Winterhold, she is a stealthy thief, works only with magic and is not friendly with others, I am planning on joining the Dark Brotherhood and The Thieves Guild with her, doing all Daedric quests and becoming a vampire.

And a male Nord with a red beard and scars, he is currently a companion, deals his damage with a shield and a sword, uses heavy armour and every full moon changes into beast form, I am planning on joining the Stormcloak rebellion with him and helping to revive the Blades with him.

Breton mage who became a vampire early on he's quest. Master at conjuration and illusion at the moment. Soon he will be a master at all of the arcane arts.
He has a pretty breton wife, her name is Muiri. She lives in some alcemy shop or whatever. She's my characters only person who makes him a little more human and less of a monster.
He has bounty pretty much on every city, Solitude pays for he's head 8000 for example. Luckily he's still in a neutral stand with the city where he's wife lives so they can see eachother....dunno will this end up as a sad story

Your imperial sounds interesting!

Currently using

Male Argonian, legion, TG and DB, stealth, light armour, and pure marksman. Play in the style of personal gain, be good or evil aslong is i get the best cut.

Male Orc, Stormcloak, Companion, General Thug, Heavy/Light armour and Volendruung. Playstyle kind of like a bandit or a loyal sellsword(SellHammer lol)

Want to make a mage class.

Khajiit ranger, highly skilled in stealth, archery, and alchemy, but can go toe-to-toe with enemies when needed. He traveled from Elsweyr with a trade caravan, but after an incident with bandits in Cyrodiil, he found himself separated and later captured by Imperial guards.

He claims loyalty to no one, probably Whiterun if he had to choose, but works mainly to restore order throughout Skyrim by disbanding wild bandits and rogue mages. His virtues are modesty and discipline, working effortlessly to keep a low profile while doing good deeds for others. He often send letters and packages filled with gold, gems, and other rarities back to his family in Elsweyr and longs to return someday in the future (are you listening, Bethesda? Elsweyr DLC, hint, hint).

Roleplay at its finest......nice one

My stealth ranger is home to none. Roams the countryside, walking and running everywhere.

Runs to town to sell stuff, collects furs, leather.

Geez, just saw Lord Bafford above me........almost the same......except I don't send things to anyone, since I dont have a family

Fun times.

why not....
two at the moment. a female altmer. she is more or less a jack of all trades, i dont use skill perks with her, she's 80 hours in, level 34, done college of winterhold and main quest, planning on doing roughly everything with the exception of the civil war questline. she is more or less my test run through of skyrim. no companions no wife no help. if someone needs help she helps. proficient at roughly everything but twohanded and pickpocket. might go vampire... still have only come across a few vampires and they were non hostile.

number two is a imperial male married to (grelka i think her name is) in mixwater mill, he is heavily based off nondrick or nordrick if your familiar. hes an npc who will not be doing quests but will instead wander, hunt and forage in the attempt to make enough money to live comfortably. will at somepoint join the imperials out of duty, and do only that questline. (also hes my excuse to try the smithing alchemy enchanting cheat). he sleeps every night eats two/three meals a day and cannot fast travel. proficient enough so far with bows and doesnt wear any armor. depending on if this gets pointless and boring may join companions as well.

My Nord joined the Stormcloaks as revenge for the Imperials trying to cut off his head, and to oust the empire from his homeland. Also, as a werewolf, Imperials are tasty.

My Nord's adventure hasn't gone too far, but he's all about adventuring and wants to see and do it all. The plan is to be mostly a warrior with some restoration and archery on the side. He will be smithing and using a sword+shield.

I'm the absolute worst. I can never stick with a character beyond level 30. I get to level 30 and I start getting the itch of thinking "Hmm, I miss doing XYZ." I currently have a Wood Elf Archer/Alchemist. I'm starting to get the itch again to go either Breton Mage or Orc Warrior, but I just don't know what to do! I used to think I was ridiculous wanting to make sure my character "made sense" meaning...if it was an Orc, he had to have an "Orcish" name and play as a warrior. I'm glad to see I'm in good company.

I am playing as an Imperial named Richard. I use whatever the current situation warrants, though I do have a soft spot for swords. As will Fallout, Lockpicking is my bread and butter.

I have the opposite problem, i can never let go of a character even after doing every quest and getting to level 81. I finally shelved the character but only because my game file size had reached a critical limit and was no longer playable.

Currently I am playing a breton warrior that uses mostly shield and sword.

Currently sitting on three that I think will be my core characters, and any others I make just experiments in how useless of a character I can make before its unplayable.

Male Argonian, specializing in all the stealth skills, two-handed and archery. Rob people blind then overpower them with two-handers, using Archery for dragons. Limited myself to no magic whatsoever.

Female Dark Elf. Going for a classic Cleric; so heavy armor and shield, using illusion to kill a NPC via frenzy effects and then resurrecting them, healing as needed. Limited myself to no weapons/destruction only direct damage from me comes from shield bashing.

Female Nord, just pure mage character. No Illusion/Conjuration or Armor.

I'm playing a Khajiit: She's the Harbinger of the Companions, just got there. Her playstyle is a bit of a sneaky witch, she's good with bows and stealth but also good with conjuration and enchantment. She does Alchemy a bit and can use a sword when needed as well turn into a werewolf, doesn't wait until a full moon. She's a nice girl but has some ethical ecentricities, if people are nice she'll help them out but anyone that attacks her might find that their souls being used to make a shiny sword thanks to having the Black star.

Im playing a 45 year old nord warrior. He sticks to a code of rules, but is very cynical and kills for money. He however is extremely loyal to the empire,

Ra'Kazjahr, a Khajiit martial artist, summoner and scholar. He was exiled from his homeland of Elsweyr as the result of a series of catastrophic magical experiments. He wears heavy armor, fights using unarmed combat and conjuration, and his sole ambition is to collect the most powerful artifacts in Skyrim (mostly daedric artifacts and dragon priest masks so far). So much fun just punching everything.

Bovice, Redguard master of deception. Fights using axes and illusion magic to disorient his enemies. Crazy easy to kill things when they don't fight back. Seeking fame and fortune as a dragon slayer.

I haven't seen one yet, but I'm level 15 on that character and have only had the pleasure of punching out 3 or 4 dragons so far.

Just made a new Character. In the process all my past saves got wiped X.e oh well.

Khajiit Monk, Specializing in Conjuration, Restoration, and Enchanting. I will also tear Enemy's apart with my bare claws! Will be joining both Companions, and the Collage of Winterhold. Although I sympathize with the Empire, I am not getting involved with the war.

Having played like 8 different characters the khajiit hand-to-hand/magic one has been by far the most satisfying. Punching things to death is just so epic, especially bears for some reason.

Sure, sounds like fun :P

My 1st Nord followed his father to Cyrodiil and was a smith apprentice and a swordsman of a small closed settlement of Nords beneath the Valus Mountains. After his father passed away he started to travel across the land, and decided to visit his old hometown of Whiterun when he was captured at the border. From everything he found out upon ariving home, he decided to do some work, gather up some food and cheap resources to smith himself some protection and travel to Windhelm to join the Stormcloaks and that's pretty much all there is about him :P He's an expert smith with a knack for some basic enchanting, and uses heavy armor along with one handed sword and a fist or a shield, and is skilled at shield damaging and being a spicy fighter, he'll often damage and stagger an enemy with shield alone fust for the kicks. :P

Character I'm currently playing with was an Ashlander called Zenabi Urshilaku, last Ashkan of the Urshilaku tribe, even tho he's an orphan and he earned his forname of Urshilaku from his father, rather than inheritting it. It was the last standing Ashlander tribe that was kept on life all those years until the erruption and evasion of Argonians came in. He and his family, along with the whole tribe fled to north-west part of Morrowind's mainland, but soon after they were forced to move further. At the end, they decided to cross the Velothi Mountain where most of the people died. Rest of the people barely came to border where imperial's ambushed them and killed all but Zenabi. Zenabi was pretty unsocial, considering his ashlandic origins, but his hatred towards others is now lost. He's still not cheery fellow talking jokes around, but he doesn't resent non-dunmers at all anymore. Furthermore, after he found out about him being a Dragonborn he started to develop respect towards nordic people for their great power of the voice and has become very fond of their ways, lore and patriotism.
Being a sort of a jack of all trades (or maybe it is because of the lack of his skill in those branches), he rarely smiths, and uses any kind of equipment that seems better to him, regardless of it being heavy or light armor (which often results in mixed armory), but still prefers magical items and will rather wear an enchanted helmet of weak defense than one of much greater defense but bearing no enchantments. He is also an expert enchanter and often calls daedra to aid him in battles, heavily relies on destruction and is skilled at one handed blades, resulting in all combinations from dual wielding blades or magics, to using combination of both at once.
By emotionally associating Nord's struggle of kicking out foreigners and after the incident in which he sided with Forsworns he also decided to join up the Stormcloaks and help them in their cause.

Other characters are low leveled and haven't really progressed in the game much if at all so that's it from me. :P

My first character is a regular Nord warrior, focusing on 2-handed, heavy armor and smithing. A true dragonborn if you'd call that. Currently at lvl 33, completed the Companions questline and just joined up with the Stormcloaks. (Skyrim is my first Elder Scrolls game, so I just went with the most straight forward build here)

Second character I put more thought into and my aim is to create a Dunmer nightblade (assassin/mage) But as of now, my nightblade is just a regular assassin with the normal sneaky skill set. This is because this character is still at level 14 and I feel like I need to develop the assassin side of the character before I could get into magic. Oh and my Dunmer has just joined up with the thieves guild, hopefully to gain sneaky skills faster so then I could move on to the mage side of the build. So far, I'm having a lot of fun with this character.
