I think that Johnny Guitar is one of the best songs on there, I like all of them though. And it seems to me that every station plays the same songs. Dissapointing.

And honestly, would you guys rather be playing Fallout to some screamo bull crap like Devil Wears Prada? Thats sickening.

Music in both games is awesome but we need more Sinatra and Davis and Lawford and Martin and Bishop and Newton and....

Johnny Guitar is a good song, but I agree that it pops up way too often. I'm rather disapointed with the NV radio soundtrack thus far. It has some good songs, but far too few. My wife dug up a ton of great 40's songs after we played Fallout 3. "Pistol Packin' Mama", "Gee, I wish I was back in the Army", "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and so many more would have been great additions.

I've taken to leaving my Pipboy radio off because the short loop of 3-5 songs was driving me insane.

This game has 20 songs on the New Vegas Radio playlist. I got that straight from the game files (use the GECK to open up the .esm file, go to the Quests tab, filter for 'Radio' and check out the New Vegas Radio quest, then the radio dialogue for it and you'll find one of the topics is a list of the songs it plays). Not 15, not 25, 20. Exactly the same number as those in F3's GNR.

There are not just 5 songs playing. Seriously, actually count them next time. Mark down which songs you hear - you'll find that there are way more than 5 songs on NVR. Yes, 9 songs are played slightly more frequently than the other 11, but all of them are still played.

A DLC will supposedly add tons of new songs, also yes. Johnny Guitar svckS but I like Big Iron and Blue Moon. Blue Moon never gets played though.

The stations need more songs, and more variety between each other as well. I love the music in this game but I can't listen anymore or I'll ruin my enjoyment of them.

This is probably the most annoying song in the entire Mojave Wasteland, repeating every 2 SONGS or something..

They really need to add more songs to the playlist!

Those are the only songs that play in game on NVR. 14 songs. The song list needs expanding badly whether or not there is a bug in the game prevent some songs from being played. All these people claiming it has 20 songs or whatever are misinformed or not reading their source correctly. There are some songs in the game that are not intended for use on the radio and are used in certain locations/events. There are FOURTEEN songs for NVR and they are not weighted evenly. You will hear certain songs a lot more than others and its not uncommon for a song to show up twice in a row or with one song apart.

Did you actually read what you quoted? Im not wrong. The songs I listed are the only 14 songs that play on the radio in game. If a song is in the games files and not scripted to play, its not in game. Im right and youre wrong sorry.

Yes, I did. I've heard all of the songs I listed except Stars on the station, I briefly listened to all of them to double check. All of them except Stars on the Midnight Range have played for me.

Urgh, I can't stand that song. That one and Big Iron. The few times I've tried listening to the radio I've swtiched between the channels trying to avoid those two songs. But I don't particularly like any of the songs, and what's more all the stations seem to play the same songs, so you don't get any variety from any of them.

Now I just tune in every now and again to listen to the news updates. I have the background music on 90% of the time. It's way better.

I wonder if I twiddle with my Pipboy a bit I could pick up GNR...

You can say there are a bunch of songs until you're blue in the face, but I've still heard nine songs maximum. Even switching stations doesn't help much as some songs (Johnny Guitar) are played on all three major stations. Whoever put the music together for this game has epicly failed.

I concur. There are way too few radio songs in Fallout New Vegas. The only reason I even use the radio is for the hilarious Black Mountain talkshow conversations.

Yes, you are wrong. Those are the songs that are scripted to play. The scripting for each of them is exactly the same, and all of them play. Where are you getting your song list from?
