As you already know from Oblivion don't think and don't ask just play. You find, see and do everything your looking for sooner or later. Call your friends and family, tell them you'll be back sometime next year. Exploring is great although going into caves and dungeons without a quest may result in broken quests. Don't plan on decorating your house, it's way too hard. Make sure you find the right lady or man to marry. Don't break into the building where you first steal frost(horse), broken quest for thieves guild. Takr how many times you have ever saved in Oblivion and triple that amount while playing Skyrim. Always ask about rumors at the inn's. Take time to listen to everything and everyone. If your a hoarder like me find the steed stone. Enchanting can be awesome if not abused. Side quests are more interesting than main. If your playing on a ps3 like me I feel for ya. If a man asks you to play a drinking game do so, it's a very fun quest.
Finally get something to hold up your jaw when looking at the sky. This game has the best skies I have ever seen. The Sky in Skyrim lives up to the name.
Find Cicero...poor poor Cicero...;!..
