$40,000!? :shocking:

Wow, well you only get this opportunity once in a lifetime. If I were you, I wouldn't spend a penny of it right away. Put it all in the bank for about a month, and during that month plan what you're going to do with it. You don't want to be saying "easy come, easy go" after you spend it recklessly. Let it sink in, and after you have plans for how to spend/save it, then start doing something with it.

Pay homeless people to do choreographed dance routines on demand, and other homeless people to sing your theme song. Combine them and you have some status.

Invest it into either Twilight or Avatar. You'll make a steady return of BILLIONS.

Pfft, welcome to my world. I've been seconds late for so many potential sigs that I've lost count of them all. -_-

You need to invest it into something you can benefit from long term, something you won't regret buying that will get you through hard times ahead...

Invite all your friends over, saying they'll get some of that money, then burn it all in front of them!

Slightly depressed, thank you very much. <_<

Anyway, OP, invest in hypercolor hose stockings. I know they'll come back in style someday.
