We're just a bunch of masochists, when you think about it. We can't stop posting, even when the mods are around.

Not the most joyous way to acquire money, but nice of her to leave the money to you, and fortuitous that it came through when you needed it.

And it costs money to make games, and it costs money to make money. So somewhere in there money == games.

I actually am a Spanish citizen.

Anyhow, yeah, those six pages were fun and all, but let's get back on track...

If we get them off-guard we might make it to six hundred posts.

Yeah, I'd totally buy a corvette or something.

Only reason he got was because a relative died also he's was guilty he hadn't seen her in a while. I don't think that is rubbing in the face sir.

So what are you planning to do with it? Just buy that house and put the rest in the bank?

Come to the USA, then attend and pay for a year and a half of even a halfway decent university. Then cry because you realize you have no money left.

Well if we're being serious again than I'll repeat my previous advice:

$40,000!? :shocking:

Wow, well you only get this opportunity once in a lifetime. If I were you, I wouldn't spend a penny of it right away. Put it all in the bank for about a month, and during that month plan what you're going to do with it. You don't want to be saying "easy come, easy go" after you spend it recklessly. Let it sink in, and after you have plans for how to spend/save it, then start doing something with it.

Imo, you really should only spend a few thousand dollars and save or invest the rest.

Keep in mind that he's in England (from memory), so that quantity of money simple is not going to buy a house/apartment outright.

I meant put it toward the house. But is it really that bad in England, right now? What's the average price?
