ED-E because I don't know how useful it would be in a fight. Eye bots in FO3 only have weak lazers and it does not take much to destroy them. In the trailer ED-E did take two shots from a .50 cal so it might be tougher then I think. Still should an Eye Bot really be that strong? It's special I know that. Just have to wait and see. It might turn out to be my favourite.

Well it is the most sturdy eyebot. Maybe it'll have a plasma instead of a laser.

Probably Lily right now. She used to be a Nightkin in the Master's army, but that doesn't really help the fact that she's getting granny relapses now. Plus those clothes just look ridiculous. Unless there's Super Mutant armors, there's not a chance in hell that I'm ever going to recruit Lily. Who knows, maybe she'll be a pleasant surprise. Until then, I'm going to stick with Arcade or Veronica and ED-E. 33 more days until we find out!!! :fallout:

I doubt there'll be equippable SM armor for her, but don't the companions get special gear unlocked during the personal quests?

Let us all pray that they do. Something less...frilly would preferable. Perhaps something more befitting an elite Nightkin soldier. It would be nice if SMs could have armor for themselves too though. It was way too easy to kill Super Mutants in Fallout 3 since they had no armor (or they did on their character model that had no effect). It would add a bit of challenge if they had some kind of protection other than thick skin. Frank Horrigan style armor would be great, but highly unlikely.

Boone just seems like a damper to me.

Personally I would have nothing to do with him. Hes probrably a complainer and will try to take my kills, him being a sniper.

Cass, Just purely for the fact that she seems like a generic, hard drinking, Wastelander with a tough life. Not the sort of folk I want to have as a Companion to be honest. (But we'll see its all speculation after all, Hell I may even like her the most when I actually get her and start doing quests about her background and the like.) :tops:

I would laugh at all who say ED-E is weak and he is actually made up of bullet proof titanium-alloys and uses an ionic cannon to decimate his foes P=

Her father was exactly the same way. But his shotgun skills and sense of humor made up for it, surely. I hope she inherits some of that awesome personality.

Do we know she's Cassidy's daughter, or is that just what people are assuming based on the name? I mean, people assumed Raul from FO2 was this Raul based solely on the name, and that turned out to be wrong.

I like all of them, but my least favorite is either the dog or Lily. We'll see. I think they're all very interesting so it's a tough choice.
