No he will not, he's all the way back at east coast and he's in pieces, it will probably take a whole decade for them to fix him. 3 years isn't enough.

Amen. The BOS tin cans do not have the ability to repair a robot that took the Pre-War so long to make.

Maybe the Enclave............(Nevermind)

Is this a serious question? I mean obviously not he was a one time east coast thing anyway then he got blown up...no he won't be in NV.

Pfffft, The BoS have the ability to repair it, they just don't have the resources to do so though. But they do have more than enough scribes to keep him in repair at a steady pace, that would probably take a few couple of years, and when it does, the BoS will have dominance over any other huge threat.

Answer is no to him coming back though.

Edit - Ninja'd

I hope they don't repair him and that he doesn't show up in any more games.
I mean, the final quest in vanilla FO3 was a cakewalk, he was instakill shoop da whoop.
His powerlevel was well over 9000 and that's just not giving anyone else a fair chance.
Maybe having him as an enemy would mix it up a little and make him something to fear but having him on your side just makes things too easy.

Given that he's just a head with damage to his CPU I doubt we'll see him anytime soon, and not as a giant bipedal kill-bot either I wager.

No.

I'd actually prefer to see something new in a game, instead of tired retreads of old (BoS, Gauss Rifle, Enclave, Prime, etc) stuff.

It is highly unlikely that Liberty Prime will be in the game. Remember, the Fallout universe is set in a post-nuclear environment. Even if the Brotherhood somehow managed to repair Liberty Prime in just three years (a task that is almost impossible even if they have an entire decade), how would they transport it all the way across the country? Just think about all the logistics and manpower that is needed. And to add to the problem, almost all the transportation such as roads and highways were destroyed (Only sections of railroad was rebuilt by the NCR back in the West Coast).

Hey, I just meant Lore-wise, not gameplay-wise, sure he makes things cake when it comes to gameplay, but in the Lore of Fallout, he'd be a good thing, considering he's a giant walker, filled with magnificent amounts of technology, surely he can't be lost, the least they could do is turn him into a Super Computer Mainframe!

No decepticons, autobots, combaticons, maximals, omnicons, predacons, protectobots, stunticons, terrorcons, ultracons, aerialbots, vehicons or insectocons in Fallout. Any of them. At all. Ever again. Good day sir.

There shouldn't even be any Fallout 3 references in New Vegas. Unless it's from The Pitt of course.

Because they are no better than the BoS, they both like to recycle pre-war tech and take all the credit for it.

Anyway. It wouldn't make sense for another Liberty Prime. There was only one Liberty Prime, and he was built for the sole purpose of the liberation of Anchorage from the Chinese. And the BoS took 20 years to figure out a power source, and the Pre-War scientists never figured it out. So I'm sure even IF by some mistake of God Liberty Prime would reappear, he would be stationary the entire game.

Edit- baconator- So they shouldnt reference anything but a terrible DLC?

I'm surprised that you didn't mention Scorponok  (or Junkions even)
____

No giant robots I hope... No buried Titans in the sand...

Spoiler
But it would be fun... to have PC dialog to a Mr. Handy... stating the universal greeting

The Enclave cannot because they're once again a destroyed faction and are spread out all over the place.
Maybe in 20 years (fallout years) when they have reorganized themselves again but by then the BOS will probably have him up and running.
But seeing as Optimus' original parts were blown to the moon and they have to use parts of their own I'm gonna guess that Optimus will never be in top shape again.
I'm sure he'll be super powerful but as powerful as in fallout 3? Nope.

:swear: Weapon wise they are, The BoS in the east DON'T have a base anymore, SO now DC is enclave controlled.

Ah you mean blowing up the Citadel?
Most certainly not canon ending.
They always pick the goody goody two-shoes ending as canon. <_<
