I hope that cop gets his dues..... 13 times, that just, I don't know how to describe that atrocity.

He gets to decline a breathalyzer! I wish I would have known that I could do that.

Before I clicked the link, I saw Wyatt say "13 times" and I said to myself "He must have been black," and wouldn't you know it, he was. [censored] cops.

And people wonder why people don't trust the police...

From the surface, it looks like a racist hate crime.

How can an off-duty cop refuse a breathalyzer after shooting someone thirteen times?

Over "advances" made toward a girl he was with. It doesn't say wife, it doesn't say fiance, it doesn't even say girlfriend. It just says that he was with her. And if we are to believe the sister there was no contact whatsoever.

Probably the same reason a cop can drive into a bar full of other cops after drinking too much.

It's kind of dumb playing the race card until you learn the race of the cop, isn't it?

One word. Booze.

What sort of idiot carries a gun around when he's planning on getting drunk? I wouldn't carry so much as a swiss army knife on me if I was going out drinking.

I'd like to know what gun he was using. 13 shots? Good chance he even reloaded. Bad man.

he declined te breath test, but it certainly wont help his case. Declining to take a breath test is nearly as good as saying "Im drunk".

The man can survive the battlefields of Iraq, but not the streets of Baltimore. Interesting. (I'm saying it's interesting that Baltimore is more dangerous than Iraq, not criticising the Marine).

I hear of more atrocious crimes commited by the police than regular people.

We'll never know if it was fueled by race or not, because he'll say it wasn't until his death bed. Obviously the booze was a big factor, as a sober cop wouldn't put 13 shots in anybody if they were unarmed. Still, the race card fits awfully well in this situation. And having grown up in New Jersey and seeing local news from NYC I've seen enough stories about bad cops to not think for a second it wasn't fueled by race. I admit I'm jumping to conclusions but booze-fueled racism sounds like a good reason why he used such a large number of bullets.

Could it possibly be that because when it does happen it's more publicized than crimes committed by those who are not cops?

Yup
