Modern Warfare 2 and COD7 discussion

It takes skill to get inside the enemy spawn and not die, people who rush up and get 3 kills then die and run right back are idiots, but i get in/around enemy spawns simply because it's the best way to play non-objective games(and a lot of the time objective games since if one person can pin the enemy team the others on their team can dominate the objective).

not really, and honestly thats just taking advantage of the games flaws which is basicly glitching so you deserve to get banned for that. it just makes me mad how a small group of people like spawn killers and glitchers can ruin the game for the majority if i knew people were going to do this there would be no way in hell i would have gotten that game thats just zero gamesmenship

How is everyone spawning in their "base" a flaw? while i do admit the spawn system could be better,i can't change that.

I'm not going to sit around in one spot/one area of the map when i can go to where the enemies are and kill them instead of waiting for them to come to me.

And for the record, about 75% of my kills come from either a pistol or a sniper,so I don't just constantly spray people with an SMG/AR.

Well,i do use the SPAS a lot..just because i like the look/feel of the gun.

I just don't find rushing into the enemies and fighting them any cheaper then someone who looks across the map with a thermal sniper,or someone who uses the terribly broken AR's.

I get the annonce of the spawning system, i had 7-0, a few seconds later i had 7-4, after which painkiller kicked in and i managed to spawn without being killed.

and 7-0 for me is pretty good so i was pissed that i had to suffer 3 spawn kills.

Meh, as much as I don't like Treyarch's games I'll give it a chance until I see some gameplay videos. Oh and thank god it isn't going to be set in WWII. Hopefully Treyarch has learned the word "variation" and wont just start making every one of their future COD games set in Vietnam from now on.

They should put it out on the eleventh.

Do they have some sort of Call of Duty Game Making machine where they input a story and it ejects a game for them. These releases seems mighty close together....make you wonder if they are cutting content to try and make these 12 month deadlines.

Two different companies make them so they've got 2 years.

Eh. It's by Treyarch, so I dunno how to feel. MW1 was acceptable, but I liked the other call of duty's better.

Definitely sounds like a good time period for it. I expect much of it will be centred around the Tet Offensive which would be good. I'll be interested to see how this turns out.

Just played search on invasion right when it was our round to set the bomb up something fishy happened. As soon as we get the bomb a rpg hits and kills 4 of our team in the first second of the game.....auto aim hackers?

Does anyone still play CoD4 at all, now that MW2 is out? I tried to play a few rounds of it, and it felt too simple, now that I'm used to all the customization and options in MW2. Plus, I couldn't get the feel for the guns without rumble. :P

Here was the game , demolition on sub base. They take out the first bomb place no problem . 2nd one well it started with 2 emergency airdrops in a row and then hell happened. About 10+harrier strike , chopper gunners , stealth bomber, one pavelow and finally ended us with a nuke. So much insanity I'll get the pic up in a second.

As you can see on the left there is about 6+ care packages on one side of the map, also you see another airdrop coming in from the top. Also by the care packages you see a harrier and a pavelow to the right. It was worse at times.
I'm just wondering how did the patch get broken.

The patch isn't broken. They just found another way to do the glitch.

Depends on what kill/death they had. I've occasionally kept all my killstreaks till late on in a match to spam them.

I sure hope you don't have to deal with it. But it was just one match for me.

I doubt it I don't think 10+ harrier strikes in 2 minutes not counting the chopper gunners makes any sense. Also , the seeing the other team get an emergency airdrop every few second is wacky as well.
