Modern Warfare 2 and COD7 discussion

I sure hope you don't have to deal with it. But it was just one match for me.

I doubt it I don't think 10+ harrier strikes in 2 minutes not counting the chopper gunners makes any sense. Also , the seeing the other team get an emergency airdrop every few second is wacky as well.

They could have been boosting, while not on Free-for-All, 'tis still plausible.

Eh. It's by Treyarch, so I dunno how to feel. MW1 was acceptable, but I liked the other call of duty's better.

Treyarch did not screw up any cod games they made. Cod3 was made in about 8 months, not even a full year. How much could you expect in an 8month period? I found cod3 actually quite fun and WAW had 2 problems. The matchmaking system and the Mp40. How many is that compared to mw2 and mw1? Atleast On waw I can't go back and do glitches found on the first week the game came out like MW1.

I suppose we're those rare Call of Duty players who actually liked Treyarch games. In my opinion W@W was better than MW1.

You wont make it past Makarovs safe house.

"ROACH I'LL GUARD THE FRONT DOOR U GET EVERYWHERE ELSE"

The sad thing is, he can't even do that. They run straight pass him, and he doesn't give a [censored].

i really dont know about Vietnam for Call of Duty, i can see controversy brewing..

i loved the Russian campaign in World At War. there are parts that i think were better than Modern warfare 1. especially Downfall, i think that is my favorite Call of Duty level.

I'm kinda looking forward to the next COD..atleast i know it will get patched quickly if any game-breaking bugs appear.

I'd really love to see Treyarch be given a chance at making a COD game with a modern setting,i get the feeling that the only reason IW is considered superior is because their games appeal more to people because of the flashy weapons.

The problem I had with WaW was the dogs. What a terrible killstreak.
Anyways I`m buying the next game only if it has a good soundtrack. After all it is in the 60s.

Really? If it's a good game, I'll get it regardless of soundtrack. That's the least of my worries.

Treyarch has bad map design, and I really disapprove of mixing vehicles with infantry combat in multiplayer. Actually the vehicles were the cause of the bad map design in several cases.

Usually I would agree, but it being a CoD game I know its going to have the same basic flaws that the rest do. So unless it brings something that will amaze me ( like the killstreaks in MW2), I could care less about it. Then if they don`t put in a good 60s soundtrack, which pretty much defined the nam war, well you get the point.

I do agree that tanks svck in COD games, hope there aren't any vehicles in the next one.

But really, comparing WaW maps to MW2 maps..they're equally bad imo.

I dunno,i'm just really hoping the next COD is good..because i prefer Treyarch's balancing/patches. /hide's mp40 in the closet.

A little while back it was reported that Activision were licensing lots of music from the time period, which is where the initial rumours of the next CoD being set during the Vietnam War came from, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Dang I think I'll take off the silencer from the WA2000. I have gotten 10 headshots taken away from me with that gun! I should be at 214 not 204. So what should I have instead ? FMJ?

I always use FMJ on snipers, doesn't really make a difference but atleast it doesn't have bad effects like with most other attachments.

You could also use Extended Mags for spraying.

I disagree. Yeah, tanks are a bit much for small multiplayer maps, but the jeeps from CoD3 were badass. I loved them, and I'd love to see something similar to that again. But, of course, that's just me.

How were the maps bad? Because they weren't really small so you could shoot across the map with your smg easily? Really WaW has been the best cod to come out since perks have been introduced.

Had two great matches of Domination on Estate, got into the 30's, with barely any deaths!

I never played CoD 3 multiplayer, but the jeep things in CoD 2 weren't terrible.

I wouldn't mind seeing transport vehicles if the maps are very large, but tanks on small maps is very, very stupid imo.

K/D isn't important anyways,if it's over 1 i don't see any reason to worry about it. :P

No one every used them with any common sense. They always just drove them off cliffs and into holes. As far as vehicles go I would like to see them in it but they get abused way to much.
