Names

A kid at my school is named Jubal, and another ones named Xavier. Wierd-o's if you ask me. A freshman in my algebra class (failed algebra last year so I'm retaking it) his last name is McTavish. If you've played CoD 4-MW2 you'd get the significance of that.

My wife just had a baby girl. She is 12 days old. How is this for original?

Quinn Adelaide Pokorny (last name left off for this thread on purpose).

Yes, she has two middle names. Pokorny is named after my wifes mother's maiden name. She just passed away from a 9 year battle with cancer. BTW, if you don't like my daighter's name....I really don't give a rats [censored]....she is my little wiggly and I love her.

My name on the other hand, is not very original. In fact, its been passed down for generations. Nicholas Joseph......my father's name, his father's name, his father's father's name......

But I remember reading a name "Anna sassin" that sounded kinda cool, but as a name I would hate it.

"Hello, I'm Anna Sassin."

" :bolt: "

my mom has to work with people who have weird names

David Dudey

Fuk Lee (My favorite on account of how badly my mom mispronounced it the first time)

Cleely Wong (the lady who has this name can't pronounce her "L"s very well so anytime she says it comes out as "clearly wrong")

Speaking of weird names, my mom has nearly the exact same first and last names. There's just one letter difference. They're also pronounced the exact same.

I met a person with my first name as their middle name, my last name as their first name, and my middle name as their last name.

I got jipped on my middle name because my folks thought it wasn't common enough these days. It could have been Willard, after my grandpa on my mom's side. Instead I got Christopher, just a random name.

Oddly enough, my brother born two years before me got my other grandpa's name, Wendel. Willard is so much more awesome than both Wendel and Christopher. Meh.

Ludwig would be cool, according to Gameinformer it means honored or renowned warrior, which to be honest I should have known.

Ollie is a cool girls name. And for a guy, he would have to earn his name by hunting wolves like all good Schrute boys should.

Friends of mine (18-21 age range) that had kids made them Braedens, Jaykebs, and Ryleighs. Yeesh; I'm going to name my kid a regular name, like "John" or "Ford" or something. Giving your kid the most unique name possible won't make them unique; they have to do that themselves.

I knew a kid in Primary School who's name was Osman Osman (yes, that was his full name). I've also met someone with "O'Neill' for his first name, another boy with "Germany" for his middle name (ironically his family is French) and I know about a dozen John Smith's for originality.

Then again, my first name (Robert) isnt particularly original, and my last name is pretty damn common as well.

Could be a pet name for Olivia (perhaps)?

I have a friend called Oly (Oh-lee, but sometimes sounds like Ollie), but her full name is Oleksandra
