We need more dungeon crawler type gameplay!

Dungeons in NV? Bounties mod. 48, last I looked.

I think you mean A World of Pain. Bounties adds a bunch of quests, but only a few dungeons.

Of course, you could use both for great justice. :P

And Increased Wasteland Spawns too of course. Add in Arwen's Realism Tweaks and the trip from Goodsprings to Primm is difficult to survive.

No, Id rather not have another long boring dungeon, those things are boring IMO.

I would rather have a DLC set in the Hub, in the NCR. That would be the best DLC ever :D

A long dungeon would actually be kind of nice. Just as long as there is decent loot and a fun story.

[censored] NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :gun: I HATE dungeons!!!! Out of all the things I hated about oblivion (leveling system, leveling enemies, everything looking the same, ect.), the fact that it revolved so much around dungeons iritated me. I like to be OUTSIDE in my games (though I'm not opposed to the occasional dungeon. If it had an amount similar to FO3, I'd be okay with that), in fact a focus on dungeons is the reason why I wont play Dragon age. I think the only dungeon crawler I loved was diablo, and even that I kept hoping part of it would be on the surface (it wasn't till I was about half way through that I realized you weren't going to see more than that tiny town). Also, to avoid any arguments about it: I did like oblivion, I was just really irritated by the dungeons being a main focus, that they were all VERY similar, and the entire leveling situation. I got so frustrated w/ spending an hour or two sneaking through them that I ended up lowering the difficulty all the way and hacking my way through everything. It didn't help that I played FO3 first either.

Dragon Age is loosely based on the DUNGEONS and Dragons style

So....
thats the point of Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Diablo, etc

every location doesn't need a story, thats not believable or plausible, does every location in your town have a story attatched to it? how the hell is that believable? if i go to an abandoned town or complex to look around why does it need a story? not sure what kinda logic you're using here, but to have to have a story just to put a location on the map, where does that come from? is there a game making encyclopedia you're reading that says that? or is it just your own idea?

I'm using Fallout logic. If it's going to be in the damn game, it better have a damn good reason being there.

that logic doesn't make sense, having to concoct a story for every single location, thats not efficient for gamemaking, some locations thats fine, but that dogmatic ideology seems stupid to me, thats the logic obsidian seemed to take and thats why most of new vegas is nothing but a bland desert with hardly any decent locations at all... epics poll on the other thread shows that almost 60% of the people who played new vegas thought the game was on the boring side after a short time of playing it, and thats because of that ideology obsidian has, you end up with nothing on the map, cause there isn't enough time to make a story for every location, its not necessary to have a story for every building, tree, secret base, bridge, town or enemy.

i just think its a lack of imagination and to have story attatched to every house, building, shack, dungeon, tree, or enemy is not "plausible" or "believable"...in your town every building, house, grocery store, skyscraqer, gas station doesn't have a story attactched to it.....the new vegas crowd is always talking about "believability" and everything being "plausible" and "civilized" and "rebuilding"...well where there is civilization there is gonna be buildings, secret bases, dungeons, neighborhoods etc and all kinds of other stuff, so where is it all?.. can't have it both ways...they say new vegas is civilized and everything is rebuilding, well why aren't there more towns and houses and neighborhoods then all over the map ?

West, not every house needs a story. Not every time does someone leave behind a journal.

Agreed; the player character being there is the story. But every location is enhanced with a story, or careful details (remember how you could interpret things from the skeletons, etc, in DC?) or added information, like terminals or notes. Backstory.

I wouldn't mind more places to explore as long as they were unique and interesting.
But I would rather they work on putting a bit more story, lore and characters in the already exsisting game.

And I wish we had a bit more story with a few of the caves in the area, some places lack story where there could have been some.

He didn't say every in this post did he? Only that he would like a nice long dungeon with good story and loot. Stop using everything as a jumping off point to attack believability and say that NV was full of shacks.

No, not every house or shack needs a story.

But a [censored] secret research lab buried under the ground? Of course that needs a bloody story.

"Oh, whats that?"

"It be the secret lab Delta, built for no reason at all but to hold loot for Just for you Courier! Never mind the fact that people have known about it for years... No one... and I mean No one! Has taken any of the loot! Even though you'd expect them to, but Yeah... Go get a load of overpowered, unbalanced loot that'll one hit kill anything in the Mojave."

New Vegas has a sewer system and alot of Vaults (to many) so there are enough places underground to crawl around in. There are also alot of caves and even an underwater cave. There are bunkers as well. No I don't wan't another metro system like Fallout 3. There was nothing to explore in those tunnels other then running into ghouls and raiders.

Also the poll is messed up. Yes we agree with the OP and No we don't agree but say New Vegas is bad.
