We will get another patch right? can we have some Dev info on this please becouse my game is [censored] broken becouse of all the quest script bug.

and am now just wondering if am kidding myself and that i should just stop buying Bethesda and Obsidian game alltogheter... i never seen anything as buggy as this [censored]. I dont understand how you can make a GREAT game this buggy.

Patching is an ongoing process so we generally don't get ETAs - however I seriously doubt Obsidian and Bethesda have stopped working on fixes after just two weeks.

It's safe to assume there will be. Couldn't say when though.

Are we still waiting for a console patch? PC users already get mods, they need to get the patches first too?

No, there was one patch put out for Xbox first, and then the PS3 received a patch the other day.
LoL my friend has the PS3 version and after he installed the patch, then loaded the game, it crashed right to the XMB.
I'm sure there will be many patches to be released as some will undoubtedly break older patches.

There WILL be another patch. I still have 3 quests that I am unable to complete. It be nice if Bethesda would come up to these forums to tell us that they are working on another. I respect a company who is truthful and willing to talk to their customers.

its a shame vegas is running so much better with the very very old xp!

Support for win7, what do you mean? I'm using win7 and NV is running on my pc, with exception of the "common" buggyness.

As to the topic, don't worry so much. There will be many more patches to come. Fallout 3 had to reach version 1.7 before it became as stable as it is now. Just give it time.

i just [censored]face annoyed that i cant play this fun game now becouse i cant get over the fact that i broke the law quest is so bugged out of its mind.

i am just "hoping" that the developers actually fixes the QUESTS first.. and release a patch this week. then they can fix the many flying\hovering radscorpion bugs.

I've got a question. I got the first patch but have not updated since due to what I've heard about later updates breaking the game. So should I get the newest one or stay with what I've got.

making patches takes time if you want to do it good.

well i dont really like paying for a game that i cant play becouse "quests" you know.. the CORE of the game is broken... but its not like i have a choice now aint it.

You know that the data for the patches is pretty much the same(more or less) for all versions. The difference is that Both Microsoft and Sony have to approve a patch before they will upload it to their servers. That is why PC gets the patch first, not because they hate you, or your chosen console.

And I don't get that? WTH does MS and SONY "need" to approve a patch? Do they think Bethesda is going to upload a master virus that will destroy all consoles? Are MS and SONY really that damn stupid as to not trust publishers an developers?

I run win7 and only have experienced an occasional crash (once every few hours)

Since we are firing shots here....

I was doing OK until I went to NELSON to kill Dead Sea. I left from Fort Forlorn Hope and did the mission attacking from the East Ridge. Things went well.... Then when I return to camp Forlorn Hope or whatever, the NCR is attacking me immediately! I have hero status. I'm wearing NCR armor with a Ranger Beret. Boone is with me wearing the same. E-DE is metal.... So then I have this faction trying to kill me everywhere and there is nothing to do about it.... Legion and Khan gang attack me as well.... WTH? anyone else have weird glitches like this? I stopped playing the game and I'm waiting for another patch...

Also, I am still waiting after 30 hours of play for the "wackiness" to appear with my wacky world perk....lame.

I will also encounter random legion elite soldiers and they just stare at me. Then I shoot one and the rest watch while I wipe out their buddy. That can't be right...

I feel like its much closer to the feel of Fallout 2. I loved that game....

nobody saying this aint a great game.. becouse its probly the best game this year for us oldtime fallout and fallout 2 fans..

The Nelson quest is completely messed up. I generally avoid that whole area, because pretty much everyone who has mentioned doing that quest has had some sort of problem with it.

Forlorn hope is problematic as well. The head guy (who gives all the quests) has a bad habit of running off in a panic if so much as a bloat fly drifts too close to camp. Gets himself killed every time and fails all the quests associated with him.

I've not had any problems with factions attacking me, but I have had problems with factions who are supposed to be hostile being completely friendly. The Nelson quest is a good example. Both times I've taken the quest to liberate nelson, all of the legion act friendly towards me. One time when I completed the quest, legion and NCR were walking around together in town completely ignoring each other and non-hostile towards me.
