Locations in Vanila game open for usage, in-game hints.

Honest hearts in pretty much confirmed in-game by game files saying "Honestheartsgrafiti" much like the Dead Money grafitti.
That doesn't hint that there will be five or six DLCs. Only two things suggest five DLCs being made:
1) Five "questing marks", one achieved from Dead Money.
2) Fallout 3 had five DLCs.

The questing marks however in the regular game also go up to five before you get an experience bonus after completing five quests.

Also, Dead Money was set outside of the map. That doesn't mean they're going to use the blocked off regions of the vanilla game for future DLC. That may have been blocked off for various other reasons.

Now then, that doesn't mean I don't think there'll be five DLCs (I'm sure there'll be five). But you shouldn't be saying it like it's a fact ("There is five or six DLCs being made for New Vegas."), since it's still purely speculation.

I meant to say "probably is going to be" but I'm too tired to type it all down.

Zenimax has applied for trademarks for the following video game titles... and to me they all sound like they could very well be the next DLC for Fallout NV.

Old World Blues
Lonesome Road
Honest Heart

1st one, MIGHT be a song, as a few songs were written by J.E. Sawyer in-game, so maybe that's going to be ulysses theme song or something on the radio, but eh, could be good

2nd, yeah, that sounds right

3rd, CONFIRMED in game files, little late there bud

Oh there's nothing important what so ever about the name really.
Fallout could be named Bumble Boys Bubble Bath Time and it wouldn't change the fact that it's an awesome game.
But the name is also part of it's appeal.
If it's "bad" then it might not make one care much for it since it's name simply isn't appealing.

And cheesy.
Erm.
I dunno, guess one needs a true definition of the word.
The names just sound like some kind of blues-themed clichés.

Might not reflect the actual content but it still doesn't change the fact that the names aren't appealing.

I see what your issue is. You just don't like the blues.
That sounds like a personal problem to me.

I normally would [censored] for a source but the op doesn't have one either but this claim comes out of nowhere.

Here ya go:

Use the search for marks link, and just look up these marks:

85198874 Old World Blues
85198873 Lonesome Road
85198870 Honest Hearts

All three of which were applied for by Zenimax, and are for computer games :)

I genuinely lol'd.

I wouldn't mind having 4 DLCs. Hell, in my eyes, there were 4 (Mothership Zeta) for FO3. I hope they are all of high quality though. I also hope that the remaining DLCs are similar to Point Lookout in that they have an open map and more quests than the other DLCs.

Well, this is going to put Kieth Olbermann in a spot. What's he going to call Glenn Beck now?

Bethesda may not be able to use it. :sadvaultboy:

It is interesting that you mentioned three names. Hmm... I dunno if this is relevant or not, but perhaps the snowglobes could also hint to how many more DLC's we will get for NV.

You're right. Apparently there is room for four more snowglobes on the shelf above the original set of snowglobes, and Dead Money had one snowglobe in it. Could it be possible that there will only be four DLC's for NV?

Here is some more info on them: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Snowglobe

huh i never thought about the snow globe i found there till just now.

I feel it's early (and a bit picky) to already be bagging on the titles. How the titles relate to the gameplay might put them in a whole different light.

Just four add-ons? Why not five?

Because Bethesda/Obsidian can barely manage the complaints from the base game and its one DLC, let alone five. :whistling:

We've seen red herrings in Fallout games before, and I really hope some of the G.E.C.K./easter egg clues were put there to throw us off.

Wow!
I see what you did there!
That's incredible!

You saw him critiquing the perfection of Obsidian and you HAD to put him in his place by making sure your opinion was known, and making sure he knew that his opinion was a mere reflection of how silly and noobish he is, while you elevated yourself and your 'leet' gamer status!

I hope I can be a [censored] to other people like you one day!!
