Next DLC names found

You saw him critiquing the perfection of Obsidian and you HAD to put him in his place by making sure your opinion was known, and making sure he knew that his opinion was a mere reflection of how silly and noobish he is, while you elevated yourself and your 'leet' gamer status!

Oh and here we get to the part, again, where we, who disliked F3, are rabid Bethesda haters, Obsidian lovers and little baby eaters. Figures. :vaultboy:

Anyhow, I am kinda interested in the Burned Man DLC! Still, there is probably a slim chance for either Joshua Graham or Ulysses being companions. More like an antagonists with unique weapons we have to kill at the end of the level. :(

Zenimax has applied for trademarks for the following video game titles... and to me they all sound like they could very well be the next DLC for Fallout NV.

Old World Blues
Lonesome Road
Honest Heart

Really good find. :)

Sounds like 4 DLCs then - that's not bad for the FNV peeps!

NO!
Operation superduper shootey wootey
Mothership awsome
are TERRIBLE names, somehow if it's not "super manly men shooting eachother" people are not intrested...
:verymad:

uhhh they're called Operation: Anchorage and Mothership Zeta. Which are decent names. these names, like Lonesome Road? Honest Heart? It's just silly. I doubt these are the names. Perhaps Old World Blues, that makes sense, but I cannot imagine a DLC called "Honest Heart".

Honest Hearts is in the game files as a DLCGraffiti, so you could count on it.

well it just seemed like a silly name. Maybe it would be a great DLC and if it is then it doesn't matter.

I guess it was my first reaction to the names. I couldn't help but point out how they looked. But then again I have no idea what the DLC would be about. It makes a little sense if I think about cards and gambling. But then they could have chosen Ace of Hearts or something.

Again, in my opinion, silly is pre judging the names before we even know what they mean and how they relate to the DLC and it's content.

well it just seemed like a silly name.

Why of course! The DLC name sounds silly, so that must not be the DLC name! Right?

I don't judge a DLC based on something as superficial as its name. I prefer to judge it based on gameplay.

Maybe I'm strange that way.

I never said anything of the sort.
I'm just sick of people who disliked F3 tearing down the opinions of those who did, and simply brushing them off as "noobs" and "silly 7 year olds."
There is some heavy moderating that goes on around this place for people here who call out flaws within Obsidian's games, but anyone who likes to bash F3 seem to be overlooked.

are any of those DLCs will make us extend the game? because the game ending and slide shows pretty much tells what happens next after the final quest.

I thought Operation Anchorage was an okay name.

Anyway, again, it's about appeal.
We don't know squat about the DLC's excluding the tiny bit of info on Honest Hearts.
But it doesn't matter what we know or what we don't know.
Look at the name, do you like it or you dislike it?
That simple.
"But I'm not going to make my mind up until I know more"
Bullcrap on that.
If you name a pet you go through a couple of names before settling down on one, why?
Cause you didn't like those before.
The name doesn't reflect your pet at all.
But yet, you didn't like those before the final one.

So.
To me the names are crap and don't have the slightest of appeal.

When I see the content of the DLC's I will surely want to buy them but it won't change the fact that the name still isn't appealing to me.

Attacking posters personally: not acceptable.
Badmouthing FO3 on the FO3 forum: Bad form (IMO. If you don't like it why are you there irritating the FO3 fans?)
Badmouthing FO3 on the FONV forum: acceptable

Badmouthing Oblivion on either: Encouraged (by me)

Just don't put another lame ass exploding collar on me and you can call it "I'm taking ten dollars of your money because you're a lemming" and I'd still be thrilled.

Ha yeah that's the same with me ever since I heard about the Dead Money DLC. I immediately thought of Red Dead Redemption when ever I heard the name Dead Money.

Sierra madre poster and the text DEAD 180 degrees behind you while facing the poster can be found on vanilla FoNV at the "east pump station". Are there similar suspicious places in the mojave that could refere to DLCs as obviously as that?
