Next DLC names found

Zenimax has applied for trademarks for the following video game titles... and to me they all sound like they could very well be the next DLC for Fallout NV.

Old World Blues
Lonesome Road
Honest Heart

I think they are kinda cheesy too... but then again, Mothership Zeta and The Pitt didn't sound so amazing either...

I wouldn't doubt it if those were the next 3 DLC names but until we get an announcement from either Bethesda or Obsidian its still rumor.

Honest Heart definitely is; graffiti can be found within the vanilla game files that points to a DLC involving New Canaan and the Burned Man, all with HonestHearts in their ID's.

So I'd expect the other two to be DLC titles as well.

You've got a point about New Canaan as thats what Ringo was talking about if you save him in Goodsprings. He was talking about heading up there after you meet him at the Crimson Caravan.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's all of them since there's only room for three more snowglobes on the shelf.

So one is New Caanan for the Burning Man (Honest Hearts) , one is Big Empty for the Saturnite Alloy (Old World Blues) , and the last is the Divide for Ulysses (The Lonesome Road) .

37 gold bars on my predictions I call.

My Predictions:
Honest Hearts- will be set in New Caanan and involve the Burned man (Graffiti about both those places has the "Honest hearts" in their files. Perhaps through the northern passage? Up I-15?
Lonesome Road: Is mentioned on graffiti on the canyon wreckage as well as the divide- will feature both the lonesome road and the divide, as well as ulysses- accessed by going through canyon wreckage.
Old World Blues: My prediction is that this DLC will be set in the Big Empty- Elijah specifically calls the Big Empty a place of "Pre-War Misery", which is another way of saying "Old World Blues" if you think about it.

I kinda like the name Honest Hearts but the other two are worthless names right now.
But it depends on the DLC.
If the name fits for the DLC's content then I might change my view on it.
As for now, Old World Blues sound cheesy and Lonesome Road sounds cheesier.

What exactly makes a title name so important anyways? Also, what exactly makes it "cheesy"?

Oh there's nothing important what so ever about the name really.
Fallout could be named Bumble Boys Bubble Bath Time and it wouldn't change the fact that it's an awesome game.
But the name is also part of it's appeal.
If it's "bad" then it might not make one care much for it since it's name simply isn't appealing.

And cheesy.
Erm.
I dunno, guess one needs a true definition of the word.
The names just sound like some kind of blues-themed clichés.
Might not reflect the actual content but it still doesn't change the fact that the names aren't appealing ([edit]) to me.

The fish is right, all about appeal. And I'm not in the mood for cheese.

... one is Big Empty....

Off topic, sort of, but is it Big Empty or Big MT, meaning Big Mountain? Anyone know?

Called Empty in the DLC, though that is a clever deduction on your part.

It is interesting that you mentioned three names. Hmm... I dunno if this is relevant or not, but perhaps the snowglobes could also hint to how many more DLC's we will get for NV.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's all of them since there's only room for three more snowglobes on the shelf.

You're right. Apparently there is room for four more snowglobes on the shelf above the original set of snowglobes, and Dead Money had one snowglobe in it. Could it be possible that there will only be four DLC's for NV?

Here is some more info on them: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Snowglobe

Maybe there really is a 5th and it will have a giant irradiated snowglobe that goes on the floor.

One can hope. :whistling:

Locations in Vanila game open for usage, in-game hints.

Honest hearts in pretty much confirmed in-game by game files saying "Honestheartsgrafiti" much like the Dead Money grafitti.
