Normal Vampire vs Vampire Lord : V

Somebody thought about the normal vampire version from the vanilla game?It makes me wonder how they will get along with the new Vampire Lord.I mean if you are already a vampire,will you still be able to become a Vampire Lord.Maybe you don't need to be a vampire at all to become a Vampire Lord?..hmm :ermm:

Any ideas,info,anyone?

The vampire lord appears to be an enhancement upon the original abiliites. Of your not already a vampire they can simply infect you then make you a vamp lord.

So you can be both,normal and lord vampire but you don't have to be one to begin with to be a Lord?..hmm

No, I think he meant if you aren't already a vampire, they will turn you into one if you join them. That seems plausible. The lord is probably an upgrade to the original.

I think the vamp lord is just extending your abilities. Like with normal vampires if you go a couple days without feeding, you get extra powers. Maybe if you are already a vampire, they just give you those special blood potions and you unlock more and more vampire powers.

Why would you want to be a normal vampire if can be a Lord.I don't know,maybe they did something to the normal vamps too,so they won't be useless.

Vampirism is a disease, so I'm guessing the Vamp lord version is more of a blessing in comparison, so I'd guess that there'd barely be any negatives surrounding a Lord when in comparison to the standard disease.

I just want to find out how necromage vampire builds play into this, if they break it then it renders my main character moot.

You wouldn't want to be a normal vampire. Being a Vampire Lord means as the name suggests your superior to leser vampires.

As far as how other Vampires think about them. I would imagine them to look at them with great respect, also fear them, and are envious of them. Think of a regular vampire as a young male Lion and the vampire lord as the leader of the Pride. Sometimes the young males gang up on the full advlt male lion and challenge him but they always get put in their place. I would think its the same concept. And I hope thats how Bethesda treats them and dont give the ability out to other vampires like candy.

lmao this is why you are my favorite poster, you always draw a nice picture with skyrim. Its never just a vampire is x amount of abilities. no its a story and the vampire lord is the leader of the pride [censored] lol. good stuff man, your helping bring skyrim to life for me!

p.s. does anyone know if they fixed that glich with the skin color of vampires. My character had pale skin originally so she got alterd or something to look darker after i became a vampire. Is this gonna be fixed in patch 1.6??????????????

I really hope that being cured of vampirism doesnt afffect my ability to become a vampire lord... i literally cured myself a few weeks before the trailer came out

I've heard that stage 4 blood starved vampires will no longer be attacked in public, but that Vampire Lords will (obviouzhly)... May just be hearsay.

The cure isn't permanent in skyrim you can be reinfected.

The way i understand it from the GI leak is that the Vamp lord is just a transformation like werewolves. It is a power that is unlocked for existing vamps not a new strain or type of vampire.

Hmm..i remember a screenshot showing RACE: Vampire Lord...I dont know if that has a meaning or not.But probably like you said,only a transformation like werewolves.But if that is the case then you might be able to be both,normal and Lord Vampire.hmmm... :shrug:

Dont know if this clears anything up but something info i found. Perhaps we both might be right in a sense OP...only time will tell....although it would be cool to once again have vampire factions.

I read somewhere that any 4 levels of regular vampire there will be no NPCs trying to attack you and only if your a vampire lord, I'm skeptical about this, maybe if you talk to someone when your level 4 you can be recognized as a vamp and be attacked.

Well on the screenshot of the vampire perk tree, the top line read:

Name: Caius
Level: 42
Race: Vampire Lord

So I'm assuming it's a race? Maybe the player was in VL form at the time :shrug:

He also seems to lack fangs as well, for some reason or another. Not sure how you're supposed to feed without them. Maybe they will only show up when you go to feed now? :shrug:
