What I've been confused about is if you were an adventurer who took an arrow to the knee why would you become a guard? Don't guards fight and protect? I thought the arrow to the knee was saying they were now crippled or not strong enough to perform the tasks of an adventurer. You think they'd retire to an easier lifestyle than being a guard.

Lol, my character's had arrows in the eyes, mouth, neck, throat, chest, arm and even groin, but once I take an arrow in the knee, I'm done. The line is crossed. No more adventuring XD
