No one famous just a cute girl

I just think it's funny that he looked up her middle name. I've followed her work for years, been interviewed by her twice, cast her in Old World Blues and generally consider her to be an awesome person, but had no idea what her middle name is. Nor do I particularly care, but I think it's funny that this troll decided that was pertinent information. :)

The Fallout Wikia has a page about her, he just copy-pasted most of it.

this is a distastefull comentary of some pre ten that has nothing else to do but to troll a professional with out even seeing the result of her work, we do not care if she is sixy or not (and perssonally i think she is good looking women), beauty is on the eyes of the beholder.

anyway was she not an exelent professional i douth Obsion would hire her to voice chars in OWB

Wow. My misogyny meter just blew up. Grow the hell up boy. As for the VA herself, she has a beautiful voice, and I look forward to seeing what characters she VA's for.

Oh and for the record, Ms. Belmont is an outright knockout, and not just "cute." And I say that in the most honest and gentlemanly way possible.

if they're a good voice actor, i could care less how famous they are. For example, Ron Perlman isn't exactly an A-lister, but if anyone but him says "War Never changes..." at the beginning of the next Fallout, alot of fans are gonna be pissed.

The writing of Obsidian + Bethesda's ability to recruit voice actors = no worries from me.

Personally, I enjoy 'normal' actors. If a famous actor does vociework, it blows a cannon sized hole in the budget of the game, pending on who and how famous they are.

That said, the guy who voices people like Major Dhatri seems to have caught a big break, I'm hearing his voice nonstop in commercials now. So if a video game makes a no name but all talented actor/ess get their big break, then that's wonderful. A famous actor really doesn't get much actual use of doing a VO besides money.

Quality Game > Game who's only positive quality is (Big name actor)

It's all relative.

I think we had some pretty big names in FNV, but I freely admit to not viewing the same things as mainstream America. I mean, to me, getting Fred Tatasciore was freaking amazing.

By the same token, we have some HUGE names in HH and OWB. But nobody as famous as Brad Pitt or anything. I'd take ten people like [name redacted] before shelling out the cash for a mainstream movie star.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifnMjqdm4QE. While Brotherhood of Steel isn't the most loved Fallout game of all time, I've never seen it trashed for featuring Tony Jay instead of Perlman as the narrator. I for one don't care who voices the narrator since he plays such a small role in the game.

There's people who wouldn't consider getting Fred Tatasciore amazing? He's right up there at the top with Jim Cummings and Frank Welker, in my opinion.

Well, I don't really keep up with the Mainstream period, I just kind of live in my own bubble, but all the 'famous' people that the forum got excited over were great actors. They really did well to add uniqueness to their characters. (I really, obviously, liked Mr. House's voicing by Rene Aberjonois. I can see why people got giddy at his name)

That's because there are so many other things to trash it for. I mean, it has achieved the "game that shall not be named" status around here, why would we even bother complaining about the narrator.

I'm pretty sure I'd have seen some complaints about the narrator being Tony Jay at some point. Of course Tony Jay's voice was so awesome that it may have negated the blasphemy of using someone else instead of Hellboy.
