Patch 1.7 announced

Post » Tue Jul 24, 2012 6:22 am

What is this dialogue bug ?

I think they're talking about where you may select a different conversation option than the one your mouse pointer was on. Happens very rarely...and is easily fixed with about .3 seconds of mouse wheel scrolling. QQ'ers love to find anything to QQ about lol.

Interesting. I too was wondering the same thing, as it definitely wasn't possible for New Vegas. Might not've been possible for FO3 either, don't recall.

Also:

Blood on the Ice is a broken mess.

You beat me to it. :) They are going to need a seperate patch just to fix that one quest I've never gotten to play through.

They're talking about the one that killed every mod that tried to edit dialogue, but please continue kissing Bethesda's ass. It suits you.

The image that came from Bethesda in the Tweet showed a character wearing a shield on his back as well as what appeared to be a new staff...
This made be laugh.

You're wrong. The dialogue bug is when any changes to vanilla dialogue result in the dialogue not appearing, no subtitles showing up, the npc not speaking, ect. It doesn't have much of an effect on console players, or people who don't use mods. But, it really messes with mods, and the USKP.

Can't Bethesda just hire whoever created the Unofficial Skyrim Patch to sort out their game ?

Same here, no idea what he's talking about lol.
True that, I had zero problems with that quest. A couple of miscellaneous quests still tell me to complete a few things I already did. And I got some junk in my inventory, but it's no biggie.

In my eyes 1.7 adds nothing. Some small fixes for really rare happenings I have never seen or heard and some stuff for xbox users. "General memory and stability optimizations" is probably the reason why it stands as a new patch but I can't understand how that would affect in my game - there has never been problem with Skyrims stability.

It's 'entitled' for a customer wanting a developer to fix their game. Your logic, I don't understand it.

My point is, the Unofficial Patch has fixed many problems that Bethesda have failed to. Some of them major bugs.

I don't see why Bethesda can't work with the people who created this mod, perhaps even hire them and give them access to their resources so they can fix more of the bugs they are currently unable to.

So your fine with games staying buggy because that's how it was before 2000?

Edit: I said to much. :(

I'd edit out that last part before a mod gets you for flamming.

https://unofficialskyrimpatch.16bugs.com/projects/7078/bugs/208015

Go to your control panel >>>>hardware and sound>>>>sound menu. Select speakers and go to enhancements tab, select loudness equalization. This helped out quite a bit.
