After I installed the patch it doesn't give me the option of loading the save files I have.
After 30hrs of play and getting up to level 20 I gotta start over again!
Thanks Bethesda! :flame:
Now that, to me, is a first.
Do you mean that the game hangs/freezes/crashes on start-up (which is a well known issue in these forums) or do you mean that when the game starts your previous game saves are not there?
If the latter is the case, what platform are you on? I'm assuming PS3 since that is the forum you're in and if that's the case then that is just wildly weird. In all of the installing/deleting/reinstalling/workarounds/reformatting, I have never not been able to find and load a manual save! If this is something new and can be verified then there is truly something strange going on about this whole situation.
What I mean is that I have been puzzled from the start as to why so many people are not experiencing the same catastrophic freezing/crashing problems (I'm talking ONLY about the PS3 here) that so many of the rest of us are enduring. There are too many people who come across as completely honest and frustrated with too many varied problems. I'm starting to wonder if there is any truth in something I read in another thread (I forget which) about different companies doing the actual disc burning and maybe one or two had some sort of flaw. I'm not saying that's the case! I don't know near enough about programming and game design ... meaning I know nothing about programming and game design! I am just sincerely and honestly puzzled by the diversity of experience with F:NV on the PS3.
Yes, I'm talking sole and totally about the PS3.
This is the " Fallout: New Vegas PlayStation 3 Issues" forum and I don't care about PC or Xbox. No offense to readers coming here to get the lay of the land ... I do the same in both the PC and Xbox forums ... but I own a PS3 and that is my primary concern..
