This update will actually keep me occupied if I don't get the free Dawnguard Beta.

I had my game freeze while getting off a horse and putting the weapon away while switching to fireballs, but it was a one time thing and I couldn't replicate it. I've had that tutorial pop up when entering the menu too, which is kinda annoying but didn't happen every time for me.
The most annoying thing about this update is the fix for the "burnt" vampire face doesn't work anymore, so my character is stuck with what looks like a bunch of dirt on her face till further notice.

I noticed the game running a bit smoother on the 360, which is always good. That plus no more atomic nirnroot and mounted combat sure is satisfying for me.
when did it come out for 360 ?

How could people on PC test it and then not got the final version first?
Bethesda is most likely just tired of people running the beta with heavily modded installs and subsequently reporting bugs that are caused by mods. Xbox makes a better guinea pig for Beth since you have no choice but to play vanilla.

I got it 5 hours ago, but it releases different times in different areas, so you might not have it yet.

So, i gave it a while after I made my post earlier.

Has anybody confirmed the new dragon kill cam for mounted combat or was it a glitch?

Just installed the update on 360 (27MB) i noticed the game decided to give me those quick tips for everything all over again. Game seems very stable and seemed to load saves quicker, but that may have just been me.

Had a go of mounted combat and it's good :-) a whole new gameplay feature to play around with.

Yea, I am very impressed with mounted combat works much smoother than I had imagined.

huh?

i posted a thread earlier about what seems to be a bugged killcam with mounted combat.

Well havent played the new update on my pc yet, as Im running it in the xbox360. But I have noticed faster load times, and smoother cell transitions. Also seems to be running faster in game. Ninroots are still having a glow effect after picked, and also I killed a dragon while I had a candlelight in my left hand and now I keep having that magical sound as if Im casting magic. I hope once I turn my 360 back on it will stop.

This is the best patch, EVER!. I can now play the game without it freezing, due to the bloated save file problem.

Haha, I had the same problem but with the default healing spell sound. Once I reloaded my save it was fine.

Seems pretty buggy still to me. Played for a few min, and my archer stood on top of the horse... and there was some weird animation glitches when trying to fire arrows from the horse at people.

On an existing save, or a new character?

That's strange..Either they didn't calculate the arrow drop correctly or my arrows are going in people with no damage.

I'm highly disappointed magic can't be cast from horseback, but I must agree the game is much smoother now.

Now every time I go into my quest journal it brings up a message telling me how to navigate it. I don't want this and it comes up every times.

Now the question is, do we need to start a new game for the FULL EFFECTS to come in? The reason I asked I remeber when people complained a patch didn't work was because they were using their current game, a new game needed to be started for the effects to take effect.

Nirnroot seems to be fixed for me on an existing save, but it was relatively early in the game.

I'm reading at EuroGamer and I see this ?http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-06-08-skyrim-1-6-update-goes-live-on-xbox-360?
But not for PC? Have we not been beta testing this for a while now?

Perhaps I missed out on the announcement that all Skyrim patches will come out on Xbox 360 1 month before PC and PS3.
It's scary that this would not surprise me, "he he".

Now some people have said to me that those very few selected people playing on Xbox 360 needed this patch in order to beta test Dawnguard, but how would that make sense for the rest of the players on Xbox 360 that isn't beta testing Dawnguard, to recieve a patch that isn't complete, that could cause broken saves?! I don't think so! This patch has to be complete.

So I have no idea why this patch didn't get released for PC that have the most beta testers of them all, is just [censored] up.
