I'm in no rush to go back to Skyrim. I hope they push out a polished and well tested patch along with the creation kit. Bethesda announced a big quest patch and the creation kit for January, but the patch will probably be released first, as there isn't any point in releasing a construction kit for the build of a game that is about to be updated.
While I haven't had any crashes, the sheer number of issues with buggy quests was getting frustrating. "Wacky" bugs like Louis Letrush multiplying are a lot of fun, but having to pacify entire cities that aggro on me for no reason and googling quest chains to figure out where to teleport npcs or start quests that don't work sort of ruined the experience. I was also unlucky to be hit by the refresh rate issue that makes 1st person view stutter constantly and a lot of "sticky" weather effects. As it is, I'll keep checking the forums every couple of days until I see a significant patch has been released and isn't particularly broken.
Btw, what is he main difference between this engine and Oblivion engine ? Oblivion engine is much more stable.
I'm playing on Single core Cpu.
The main difference is that Skyrim was made for a newer generation of hardware and was probably never tested on an old single core. You are lucky that you can run it at all.
