People need to stop using incorrect terminoogy

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 11:34 pm

Wait, I didn't EDIT my post because I didn't use a program. I must have MODIFIED it instead. Right? Man, you should tell Bethesda to use the correct terminology in their own forums.

Listen up ragekid - you're wrong and you're borderline illiterate as evidenced by your inability to correlate the terms "modify" and "edit", which under most circumstances can be used interchangeably.

You're also not funny, in the slightest, so if this is a beginers attempt at trolling you're off to a poor start. If you are attempting to troll let me offer you some advice:

When it comes to trolling, less is more. Stop trying so hard. Playing off your own stupidity and smashing out block capitals like its going out of fashion wont get you anywhere nowadays. That slapstick [censored] may have flown 2 years ago but the only person you're gonna humiliate now is yourself.

I hope you take the time out of your busy schedule to read this message and take it to heart - you'll be a better creature for it.

I sympathize and agree with you, but be careful with the T word. From my own experience, the moderators (or editorators by no1different's account) don't like accusations.

I am using several mods for Skyrim currently, these mods modify my game hence why i shall continue to call them mods.

OP needs to step outside for once and take a deep breath of fresh air. How anyone can get so worked up over this is quite pathetic. I can only assume he is trolling. Failing i might add.

People need to stop thinking they're smarter than everyone else and just keep their mouths shut. You didn't 'invent' the term, it's a freaking INTERNET term, and everyone knows that internet slang changes organically over time to suit whatever new use arises.

At this point it doesn't matter if you think you're right or your wrong, you just look like a child, stomping their feet and saying "Nu uh!".

Thanks for the heads up and the rules do state that accusing someone of trolling is against the ToS, however (as mentioned in my post) this thread could hardly be considered trolling, being more akin to a cry for attention.

If by resources you mean a seemingly inexhaustible supply of run-on sentences.

Yeah, no1different may want to mod his OP if he is expected to be taken seriously.

This thread makes me laugh. Any time you change anything in thw game, it's modded. That's how people havw MODS that change skins for dragons turning them into wrestlers, or changing the moon into majoras mask moon? Or the countless item mods out already? Yeah, those are mods.

Lol@op.

It's really annoying for people to use incorrect terminology so please stop

Carry on with the good fight, bro. I, sadly, gave up years ago and just weep.

So, mods created with an editor are called mods, but mods created without an editor are called... edits?

Pure gold. Thanks.
