Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 8:23 am

Nobody I was just stating that were actual tests which sounds unbelievable in the first place. I don't think plants have feelings.

I don't know much about PETA, but do they actually do anything constructive in their fight against animal cruelty?

They used to however they are more like Atheists now where they moan, cry, whine, [censored] and complain about every single little thing out there. Still can't believe those PETA idiots wanted to name fish "Sea Kittens" to get people to stop eating fish. Swear those people are so stupid they couldn't find a turd in a [censored] factory and it amazes me they have the capacity to breath.

I'll eat cats.

Big deal

There's only about two billion hungry people from China and India who eat cats.

And kittens.

wittle bunny wabbits even..

meh.

edit
Also, at the restaurant serving sea kittens, I'd complain that it all smelled like fish :P

Not you Fishy :hehe:

I've eaten it on two account in Asia That I'm aware of

as in: I was served it, asked what it was, and then ate it because there were issues of social grace that needed to be observed.

it was ok

Not so that you'll see me with a cleaver chasing the local cats out of my yard..

I have a sling shot for that

I think the phrase "choose your battles" could be applied very well here.

Mario's been having a tough time, take it easy on the old guy.

I'd give cat a try. I like to experiment with exotic meats. What's it taste like?

I've had pigeon (meh), buffalo (great), jellyfish (terrible), snails (good), ostrich (excellent), pickled pig's-feet (surprisingly okay), frog (disgusting), crickets (tasteless), and silk worms (nutty).

[Censored] you PETA!!!

God I hate them so much.

I'm cooking up raccoon stew tonight. I'm also wearing it's head as a hat.

No, I'm not really doing either thing. But PETA are a bunch of [censored] holes.

Really? I found ostrich to be very... dry. Like a roast beef, but less flavorful.

When I had it, it was cooked rare. Maybe yours was overdone?

I've had duck too, so if cat tastes like that, I'm golden, Andy. :)

Going to give my pet kitten weird looks when I get home. . .

and then not eat him.

We need more gruesome and shocking horror stories regarding animals, and we need a PETA member's reaction to him/her/it hearing the story.

[censored] that Tes..

On one hand, the food preparation industry maims and mutilates animals by the [censored] millions -American cattle and their food pens for one.. the blood meel they're fed for another..

the damn, bull [censored] 'free range' chickens who live with sixty thousand birds in a massive barn complex.. free range my rosy red ASS! -would be a third example..

and on the other hand the sensitive souls who can't watch a Discovery program about it and just have to complain to someone to feel better about themselves

In steps PETA, who know damn well they'll never put a [censored] dent in the industry, because they'd have to change the eating habits of a few billion people worldwide, so they pull this [censored], thinking that at least they're still relevant in some pathetic way.

As for PETA, I'm an equal opportunity organism ingestor. Whether an animal or a plant is killed to provide me with sustenance, it is still being killed. It is a fact I, as an apex member of the food chain, have come to terms with. I fail to see how plants should be valued less than animals, when they contribute immensely to the well being of humans. FFS.

My opinion exactly. :goodjob:

Am I the only one that's surprised that PETA hasn't gone after Bethesda yet? In the fallout games you can have a pet dog of all things

fish as Sea-kittens: this wasn't well thought out in my opinion people do eat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catfish

You can have a pet dog, sure. But in New Vegas, you have to kill a dog to get your pet cyber dog. Not to mention the countless coyote and other animals you can kill in numerous gory/excruciatingly painful ways, and then use their skin to make belts.

I can think of many reasons why it wasn't well thought out, but that didn't even occur to me until you brought it up.

Or Skyrim, where leather from animals is one of the most useful crafting resources in the game.

There are plenty of worse games as far as animal treatment, especially compared to Mario games. None of them, however, are nearly as famous and recognizable as Mario, and as such not nearly as attention-getting if they start dragging their names through the dirt, and attention is the whole point.
