Pets as companions please : Fallout: New Vegas

Can u add something like pets in the game . . I would love just a legion dog instead of Rex . . Rex is good but if like a regular animal or heck even free pets from eggs like on the mod for the Viable Deathclaw Egg. I want some new secondaries instead of all robot based ones . . And yes Rex is a robot cause he's more metal than flesh

But still . . Id love to have some kinds of pets, not like deathclaw as they are not technically an animal anymore in my opinion as they are semiintellegent and hunt in packs and such but just more like dogs, wolfs, coyotes and such or even a Snuffles the Mole rat type deal lol . . Sniffle is cute that u gotta admit lol

his perk would be you get -5 perception in broad daylight, but +5 in dark conditions

But look at the facts. Deathclaws aren't all feral killing machines . . Look at talking deathclaws of fallout 2 . . Quite intelligent for being a creature strictly designed to kill and therefore they would probably surpass humans on the evolutionary ladder at some point (I don't beleive in eveolution, merely adaptation over time but it's valid either way)

I liked the Deathclaws in F2. Though they where engineered by the Enclave with higher intelligence. And you are correct. they are not feral killers, their just highly territorial.

You can get eggs, so you should be able raise a few as your own, no? I personally would love to raise a baby DC, and within a week or something, have at least a young DC following me around.

Your interactions would be limited, I suppose, but who cares? It's a pet deathclaw!!

No deathclaws are pack animals raised by a mother and the pack so they'd be impossible to raise and keep up Im taking about trainable, feedable and loyal animals like nightstalker or wolf, dog type creatures and such

At the Smith Mesa Prospector Camp there is a prospector's dog hanging around. I tried to interact with it but no luck as it would have been nice to have it tag along with me for a while, or at least take it somewhere not so isolated.

Exactly . . I'd like to have like a black wolf or coyote type deal . . Something loyal and loving as an animal but ferocious and menacing for enemies to see . . Much like my dogs . . Luna and shadow . . Both half breed husky/ wolf Luna is solid white and shadow is (you guessed it) jet black . . Good balance is always a good thing I say . .
