There are some really great names on this thread. I really struggle with mine so when I hit on something I finally like, it's almost a relief. I just want them to be memorable. In Fallout, I like to use Emma...because it's a sweet name and the environment is so harsh. I like the contrast. :tes:

My current character is named "He-Stands-In-The-Shade".

Same name I use for all my Argonian characters. I like to think it's the same guy whose just immortal and loses all his skills and experience between games due to alcoholism and falling in with The Wrong Crowd.

When I used to write short stories for school, I had no trouble coming up with names for characters. And earlier in my gaming days, too. But now its getting harder.

My little used Nord is Sjoren, I have a Dunmer named Quinlan, departing from my long-held custom of naming a character Nitron. Only characters at the moment.

I just use my name for my female Khajiit barbarian: Ayla. Role-playing as myself helps make the story more interesting to me, and the meaning of my name is fitting to a Khajiit, too. Ayla means "with the moon." :3
