I have this weird thing with going on. I cannot for my life play a char seriously unless they are named... Frodo. Regardless of six or race.

I am told that you can actually do that! I was getting beers last night and there was this guy who is really into martial arts, mostly Kung Fu, and he was explaining to me how he can knock people back with the power of his voice, and I am like "Whoa! You must be the Dragonborn." But he had never heard of Skyrim and when he tried to use his Kung Fu voice on me in the parking lot it unfortunately did not knock be backwards. It was very loud though.
Alcohol and kung fu masters don't mix...no offense but i can't figure out who's more "special" here, him for making that up and demonstrating it or you for believing it would work. :P

It sounds like the guy on stan lee's superhumans who said he can knock someone back and out using chi force without touching you...obviously it didn't work because jedi's aren't real and a fat white dude won't master chi energy better then the asians who've perfected the art thru generations of study

Haha, wonderful. I am assuming that the Kung Fu voice works because it takes your opponent by surprise. If someone I was fighting suddenly roared at me I'd probably fall on my ass. Then again, I am a wuss!

Good point! I was totally expecting a good dose of Fus Ro Duh, but if I had not been expecting it it might have startled me enough to knock me back a little, at least in theory. It was surprisingly loud.

My Paladin type character is Thor
My assassin/thief is Altair
My warrior is Leonidas

Lol I'm really original... but still, I like playing the game while having these characters in mind.

And it should bother me that it is cliche, why? Or are you simply lacking anything to say and posting to merely rack up post counts?

Jesus... why so serious? I was joking around, take that stick out your ass.

Also who cares/why would anyone care about a post count on a Skyrim forum?

It would make me fall on my ass too..in laughter :)

There's no such thing as a kung fu shout, the closest thing is a kiai (sp) and that's more like a battlecry...it's the loud yell when performing martial arts moves, namely breaking, and it's supposed to help you summon more power but i think it just focus' your mind and takes it off the fear of the board/brick hurting

Ha! Same reason some folks (not me) care about trophies in a single player game. :bunny:

Okay, I believe you but I am imagining how this would go . . . Next time I see this Kung Fu guy I will tell him that "Haggar" from my really cool fantasy video game forum, where we discuss topics like Dragon shouts, says there is no such thing as a Kung Fu shout. Think I will leave him to his fantasy.

Miriam, she's a real temptress. I've been attempting a roleplay at a mixed race female mage... Breton and Nord. The main goal was to just do the College of Wintewrhold quest and then retire her. She's was never intended to be a hero, and she's not Dovakhiin either. She was a budding necromancer, but that never quite took off the way she expected, however, she became quite the expert conjuror. The problem is however, I have become attached to her, but have nothing really left for her to do. Maybe I should just retire her as originally intended.

My first character was Ignar - Blind Eye, because...well...he was blind in one eye. As a former warrior turned and thief murderer, but not for the DB... no, he thought they were all cowards. It all started while he was begrudgingly serving the Empire when he was blinded in one eye by someone who was supposed to be his comrade in arms. After that, he realized his true hatred for Imperials and their filthy Legion and all it currently stood for, thus he joined the Stormcloaks and took perverse pleasure in exterminating them.

Acerbus Incenda - my male Dunmer fire-mage.

Arya - my female ex-Thalmor mage.

Falnaar - my Redgaurd pure warrior (no magic, no shouts).

But my main character, a Nord warrior-thief, is just named Michael, as he's based around myself.

EDIT: By the way, I'd be fairly impressed if someone figures out what my Dunmer's name means. Especially because of how much I butchered it to make it sound cool.

Norris the Nord

Borris the Bosmer

Aaron the Altmer

Oliver Orc

Ian the Imperial

Karen the Khajiit

Brett the Breton

Arlene the Argonian

Darren the Dark Elf

Robert the Redguard

You sir, win.

I personally, like King, for a Khajiit. Seeing as they are the masters of unarmed combat and chokeslamming animations, not to mention the obvious feline head. If anyone gets the Tekken reference...
