Yep, the inevitable My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic game. Once that comes out I won't need anything else.

The biggest threats are Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3, they are big games and they are going to be released in the same month/season. Also, November is when Activision craps out a new log of COD so that is also a threat. In my opinion none of those games are going to better than Skyrim, but they may sell more copies.

I dont see why everyone is so hyped for skyrim. Probably gonna get beaten by BF3 or ME3 or BLOPS WOOOOH (lolnope @ last one)

And "beaten" means what ?

I'm looking forward to "Skyrim", but when Guild Wars 2 is released (maybe first quarter of 2012?) it will be an MMO to beat. It has a lot of potential, especially since the gameworld will be persistent, with over a thousand "dynamic events" possible to take part in.

Maybe, there are plenty of good titles coming out this year, L.A. Noir and Assassin's Creed:Revelations are two I have high hopes for.

Skyrim also has some stiff competition in November, Uncharted a week before and Assassin's Creed a week after.

Deus Ex, L.A. Noire, RAGE, possibly Assassin's Creed Revelations. Lots of good stuff coming out this year. Just not anything that can beat Skyrim.
