so i think the polls show it DEATH CLAW WINS! hands down has al most 50% of the votes. id have to agree wit it we have a king!

I'd have to say the deathclaws are the Kings of the wasteland. When I first started playing New Vegas, I was silly and figured "Oh, the enemies are probably scaled to level". HA! Huge mistake. One wrong turn up Primm Pass, and look at that. Deathclaw at level 3. Fun times. They seem faster, stronger take a lot more rounds to kill. And when you meet them in a pack? Kiss your butt bye-bye.

Explosives are great on nightstalkers and cazadores. I lay some mines and let the grenade machine gun tear them apart. Even if you have no explosive skill mines and grenades are great for mass limb crippling those annoying groups of opponents.

And yet the Courier counts?

I never seem to post as I don't usually have anything to say, just like in real life. I just had to comment on this topic though and maybe try to be more helpful in the community and to express opinions more often. I do have to agree that the death claws are the bane of my existence. Seems like I always run into 5+ but don't believe I've run into the Alpha Male or Mother death claw. I did find it funny that I was able to snipe them near the B29 train yard with the .308 sniper rifle and saw that I had killed some BLIND death claws. How do those things survive unless their death claw buddies help them to feed. As far as Cazadors go I used to just run away at lower levels but now that I have ED-E & Cass with me and have the Laser RCW I don't really mind them at all unless they surprise me at which point I'm SOL.

you do have a good point there. after you lvl up and have 2 companions with you they seem to be easy to kill i have notice that. death claws are a pain when they are up close and in your face and will kill you fast. but they seem to be easy picking i fyour a good sniper as long as your FAR away.

Deathclaws are no problem for me, but cazadors can take me out like one two if they surround me.
