Level Caps and Endings, Oh My!

Totally disagree with your statements.

You should be able to keep going with no CAP!!! Experience should count for something.

Plus, you've been harking on this thread multiple times about no GOD character. Why not? It's Single Player!!!

I dont give a crap of its single player whatever. I do not want to ONE HIT PWN everything. How is a game fun if you can one hit KILL EVERYTHING? You have no fun, there is no challenge, and eventually it goes stale.

Fallout was NEVER desinged to be a god simulator.

I disagree, of course. :P Even though a Fallout game made by Troika wouldn't likely have been as commercially succesful (a merit which really does nothing to the gamer) it would've definitely been better game both as a Fallout game and as an RPG.

Though I do agree about the EA part.

I really can't counter on whether they would have or not, as I've never played a Troika developed game, though I have heard of them, albeit I only vaguely recall the name. However, I don't know how well it would have been recieved seeing as they shut down. But, I suppose numbers do not reflect quality, pop music is a strong testament to this.

What?!?!? I make only one character and I am a hardcoe Fallout Fan! I can never finish a new character, I start if off, but then I realise how boring it will be to make a new char.

So you don't want to see every possible end to a quest. And rpg means roleplay, you only roleplay one character, maybe you are an exception but I doubt it. If it was linear then ok give you that but for fnv, you have to play more than once if you want to get every possible scenario.

Fallout isn't a GOD simulator. There is always a challenge even if you level up more than 30. I would stop with you so called "purist" attitude. If you don't like a game to be cap free, then go ahead and choose a new character.

People are saying without the cap you would be god. Well, lvl 30 IS pretty much god mode in FV. If you say the cap is there to prevent you becoming a god, then they pretty much failed on what they were trying to prevent. Regardless of the cap, they threw any notions of non-god mode out the window with companions and too many findable items. You can roll through the whole game running around in circles letting your companions kill everything while you pop the occasional stimpak. In a game where you are supposed to scavenge, i shouldnt be finishing with 80 super stims and almost 200 regulars without ever having crafted any.
